Chapter 2 You Are not Worthy

567 Words
Bruce sneered and said, "Really? You are Ms. Perez, and your grandfather is the chairman of Nelsen Group. Even if I bring her here, how dare she tell the truth? Is she not afraid of your revenge?" Hearing his words, Evelyn understood. "You mean, no matter what, you only believe her words, not mine? You mean, everything is fake in the past three years of our marriage. You never loved me at all?" Evelyn looked into Bruce's eyes with sharp eyes. Looking into her eyes, Bruce suddenly felt that his heart skipped a beat, and the thing he was sure of before seemed to be a little uncertain now. However, Bruce still said, "Yes, I never loved you. You are a vicious, jealous, useless woman. You cook at home every day and do all the work a nanny can do. Evelyn, you are not worthy of me." Was she vicious, jealous, and useless? Evelyn almost shed tears at his humiliating words. As Ms. Perez, she didn't do any homework at all, but after marrying Bruce, in order to please him, Evelyn asked the nanny to teach her to cook. Evelyn cooked for him every day, but she didn't expect that he would think lightly of her in his heart. When Bruce saw the tears in her eyes, he felt something stab him in the heart. He didn't know why. He hated Evelyn very much, but why would his emotion be affected by a look from her? Feeling inexplicably irritable, Bruce didn't want to stay here anymore. He turned around and said indifferently, "Sign the divorce agreement, and we will go to the city hall to get a divorce tomorrow." Evelyn looked at his back and asked, "Bruce, you said you didn't want people to know our marriage because you wanted to save trouble. You said didn't want people to know the Evans family, the Perez family, and the Nelsen family had joined forces, lest others should have bad intentions. This is a lie, right? You just didn't want to admit that I was your wife?" Bruce's tall and straight back froze for a moment, and he said coldly, "Yes, Evelyn, you are not worthy." After speaking, he continued to walk out. Evelyn suddenly laughed and said, "I actually believed your words and convinced my family to conceal our marriage for so long. Mr. Evans, since you hate me so much and think I'm so bad, why did you act so affectionately in the past three years? Why did you still sleep with me?" As he frowned, Bruce gritted his teeth and said coldly, "I acted a harmonious life for my grandpa. Now that he has passed away, there is no need to act again." Evelyn sneered. "Really? But you enjoyed it every time." Bruce became angry. He turned around and walked in front of Evelyn, pinching her chin. "Evelyn, I have been very kind to you since I didn't blame you for torturing Florence. Don't provoke me on purpose." Bruce had always been puzzled. He had always been abstinent and had never touched other women. He didn't have any desire for those women who seduced him, but he didn't know why, when he was lying on the bed with Evelyn, he couldn't control himself. Bruce hated Evelyn, but he failed to control his body. Now Evelyn was mocking him, which made Bruce embarrassed, so he got angry.
