Dear Diary - 13

299 Words
25th April 2022 Dear diary. I am sorry. I have not picked you in FOUR years. It's my sweet 16 today. I got a card from Dad. I threw it away. It's pathetic. Here's a recap: After 2 years, mum found someone who cherishes her. And us. he is a better dad than my own. Someone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad. And Darren is exactly Dad material. She is a lot happier, and they are now engaged! Layla is 13, she's just become a teen. A little angsty now. I think most of it is because Father left, (I'm calling him father because Dad is Darren now), but at least it's better than all the yelling. I'm in the process of doing mock exams and getting ready for the GCSE. Hopefully it won't be that hard. Alex got his degree and went to Uni, he's got two more years. But good for him tho. I've got a job as well, working at the local bakery. It's cute. and free cakes! Amanda left school at around year 9, so she never bothered me again. Caleb went on to be a d**k still. but never bothered me after Alex had a 'talk' with him. Scared the boy so much, he crapped himself. The creepy biology teacher? He got fired and rehired and fire and rehired so many times. People report, only to be find not true. I think there's something dodgy happening and that's why he keeps coming back. It's super annoying. Everybody wants him gone. Everyone knows the truth. But he keeps coming back. He's like weed. No matter how much you cut it down, it keeps coming back. It's a pest. Apart from all that drama, everything is zen. Mia xx
