Quinn nearly stumbled, but fortunately, the man reacted quickly and caught her around the waist.
After getting a good look at Quinn's face, Luca Nathaniel slightly furrowed his brows. She seemed somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he had seen her before.
Quinn slowly raised her head, squinting her hazy eyes, and softly said, "Thank you..."
Though her vision was blurry, she could still tell that the man in front of her was strikingly handsome. Unable to resist, Quinn reached up and gently caressed Luca's face. "Are you the male model from the bar?"
Luca curled the corners of his lips, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. "Do you know what you're saying?"
His voice was deep and alluring, very similar to Liam's—though Quinn found his voice even more attractive. But thinking of Liam—the scumbag who had hurt her so deeply—she suddenly had an idea.
Since Liam was mingling with other women, maybe she should find a man for a one-night stand!
Fueled by her drunken courage, Quinn boldly grabbed Luca's collar and kissed him. "How much for a night? I'll take you."
"You—"
Luca's eyes widened in shock, his heartbeat slowing for a moment. Her body was soft and inviting, like quicksand, drawing him in deeper.
But even in this moment, Luca managed to retain his rationality. He gently pushed her away. "Look clearly at who I am."
Quinn couldn't hear his words; her hands were already boldly exploring his abdomen.
Luca felt a rush of heat course through his body, his breath becoming erratic.
The drunken Quinn was incredibly alluring, her lips full and inviting. The strap on her shoulder had slipped down unnoticed, revealing her firm and ample chest.
Luca usually had strong self-control, but now, he couldn't resist his impulses. He pressed Quinn against the wall, kissing her passionately. "Are you sure?"
Quinn let out a few soft sounds, seemingly coy, as if playing a game.
"Then don't regret it!"
With those words, Luca picked Quinn up and carried her out.
At that moment, the bodyguards who had been standing by rushed over. "President Nathaniel, should we handle this woman?"
Luca glanced down at the captivating Quinn in his arms and quickened his pace. "No need. Prepare a room for me, and don't let anyone in!"
The bodyguards were stunned, their faces filled with disbelief. They had seen women try to seduce Luca before, but he had always sent them away. 'What is different today?'
As soon as the door closed, the intense atmosphere between them began.
The passionate kiss charged the air around them. Quinn's body pressed softly against Luca's, and her temperature seemed to rise, her softness brushing against his chest.
His rough hands moved from her waist to her curves, gently kneading, as their breaths intertwined. Luca kissed her hungrily, trailing from her neck to her chest, all the way down, gently parting her legs until he reached her most intimate place.
Quinn trembled, letting out a soft moan as something hard pressed against her.
The night became a chaotic blur.
When Quinn woke up, her whole body ached, and she felt awful. Her head throbbed as if it were about to explode, and her entire body, especially her lower half, was sore.
She ran her fingers through her hair, disoriented. 'What happened last night after I got drunk?
Why couldn't I remember anything?
She looked around and noticed clothes scattered across the floor. Then she saw a man lying beside her—his exquisite features, long, dense eyelashes, and high nose bridge making him undeniably handsome.
'Wait... isn't this Liam's brother, Luca?' Quinn's eyes widened in shock.
She never imagined that one day she would meet the real Luca Nathaniel, let alone sleep with him. Who would believe her if she told them?
Quinn took a deep breath, instinctively wanting to run, but someone grabbed her arm. She turned around to find Luca already awake.
Luca was leaning against the headboard, his deep-set eyes squinting. "What's wrong? Did you want to run after sleeping with me?"
Quinn's heart raced. She stammered, "I... President Nathaniel, I... I don't know how I ended up with you..."
"Last night, you called me a male model and said you'd pay for me for a night!"
Quinn's heart sank. She realized what she had done—she had forced Luca!
She wished she could disappear. "I'm so sorry... President Nathaniel..."
Luca chuckled lightly. "Is saying sorry all it takes?"
"Then what do you want?" Quinn felt like her life was over.
Luca lifted her chin, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he recalled the intoxicating night. "I find you quite interesting. How about...?"
"What?" Quinn gasped, her face pale. She hurriedly interrupted him. "Do you know who I am?"
"No," Luca said calmly, "but I'll have someone look into you."
Quinn's mouth twitched. She realized Luca had no idea she was his brother's girlfriend!
She quickly shook her head. "President Nathaniel, I'm sorry. I can't agree. Can we pretend this never happened?"
Luca's expression instantly froze. It was the first time he had confessed, and he had actually been rejected.
A wave of sadness washed over him.
As Quinn started to leave, Luca quickly took out a business card and handed it to her. "You can reach out to me for anything."
Quinn's heart raced. She blinked in disbelief. "Thank you..."
But when she reached out to take the card, Luca's grip tightened. She wasn't sure what he meant, so she pulled back her hand, deciding not to take it.
Unexpectedly, Luca grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. "I won't forget this night."
Quinn's face flushed instantly. She was about to marry Liam. That meant she and Luca would be family. If Luca remembered this, how could Quinn face him?
She hurriedly pushed the door open and ran out.
Outside, a group of bodyguards waited.
Seeing so many people at the door embarrassed Quinn, and she ran even faster.
Once downstairs, she stood at the hotel entrance, unsure where to go.
How had she ended up in this mess?
Quinn felt a wave of regret wash over her, but since it was done, she could only try to forget it.
After returning home, Lana called. "Quinn, you finally picked up! I was worried something had happened to you. Where did you go last night?"
"I... I wanted to ask you the same thing. Didn't I go to the bar with you last night? Why am I..."
Quinn couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence.
Lana was curious. "What's wrong with you?"
"I..." Quinn sighed deeply. "It's nothing..."
"As long as you're okay, I can relax. Tomorrow's your wedding with Liam. Have you thought it through?"
