"Again." I said breathlessly, letting all the excitement I was feeling consume me as I swung my sword.
"Are you sure?" Alad, equally breathless, with his countenance covered in sweat, inquired.
"For another chance to whip your butt? Hell yes, sworn protector." I grinned, feeling more energetic than ever. I was yet to win against him this morning, but my less than desired result was not about to keep me from discovering what else I could do. After being told that all was not lost with my wolf, the news had renewed my desire to prove myself. It was all I could think about.
