Chapter 9- Out of the Village

884 Words
As the sun started to rise in the sky, Ivan was waiting for ToughBlazer on the south side of the village. He had been waiting for a short time when he finally saw ToughBlazer. He was riding a large horse and leading a group of people with a huge horse-drawn carriage in the middle of the crowd. Ivan estimated that there were about 100 people surrounding the carriage.  "Boy, you are definitely punctual!" ToughBlazer praised. "Yeah, you have no idea how much I want to leave here," Ivan replied bitterly. ToughBlazer nodded, "I heard that Mr. Bowen has taught you Heal? Actually, we do need a Priest." "Well, it's just Lesser Heal, but I don't admit that I am Priest. I thought, with your level, you should have caught that at a glance." ToughBlazer said angrily, "Hey, I’m not some Saint player around level one or two hundred.” "Then what’s your level? Mr. Bowen is at level 115, and I can see his level, but why I couldn’t see yours?” Ivan wondered. "Ha-ha, I am only at level 60. I would call myself Hell player. As for the reason why, you cannot see my level while you can see Mr. Bowen’s, just think about it! Do you really think it is his true Level? Let me tell you, Mr. Bowen is one of the greatest people in the entire continent. The reason why you can’t see my information is that I’m an assassin, and one of my main skills is to hide.” ToughBlazer looked at the sky and then waved his hand. "Okay, time to go. Go to pick a horse. We have to hurry!" System: Player Bishop triggers the mission "Go to Logan"! Mission Difficulty: c Mission Time Limit: 48 hours Mission Award: XP+200; Coin3 ACCEPT or NOT Ivan just chose to accept, and then found a white horse. "Thank God, we’re in a game. I could never imagine handling a strong horse in real life.” Riding the horse, Ivan fell in line behind the team and slowly rode out of Ginkgo Village. When he saw the sign at the entrance of the village, he said silently, "Goodbye." Along the way, Ivan was curious about the person sitting in the carriage. What kind of person needed to be escorted by a player at level 60, he wondered. He heard that they would make it to Logan quickly once they reached Leaf Town.  Ivan opened the map, and only the approximate locations of these places could be seen, while the unexplored places showed a thick fog. The team marched slowly on the road, passing through the mountains and rivers. Sometimes, mobs tried to attack them, but they were all killed by Mage before they got closer enough.  Ivan watched them with envy. He also saw that there were a dozen or so figures showing in front of the team. He looked up and the Stats of the leader appeared.  Hill Robber (Common) Level:15 ATTACK: 30 HUMAN POINT: 450 "What a crazy world? Level 15 dares to rob level 60?" Ivan questioned to himself but he wasn't worried at all. After all, there were many hell-level players like ToughBlazer. Besides the level, NPC and mobs in Rivalry were also classified by their capability. Starting from the bottom Common, Super, Leader, Silver, Golden and Hell. ToughBlazer was one of the NPCs at the Hell-level. Actually, capability played a more decisive role than the level.  Due to the high level of ToughBlazer, FallenAngel, who was transferred by him, could get her skill to a greater level in a short period. It was said that there were more horrific levels above the Hell level, Legendary, Holy, and Saint. Raising his right hand, ToughBlazer motioned for the team to stop. He was curious to know what support the group of robbers had to intercept a team of over 100 people.  The leading robber pridefully said, "You better leave your food here, or we will have some lessons to teach you!” "What? Food? Just food?" Ivan almost fell off his horse but then the robber's behavior shocked him even more. The leading robber wasn’t pissed off when he saw ToughBlazer and other people laughing. Instead, he nodded to the robber behind him to kneel down on the ground, begging pitifully, "Please show us some mercy! We haven’t eaten for two days! Please!” "Robber or beggar? That is a tough question." Ivan pouted to himself. Suddenly, a faint but unwavering voice came from the carriage in the middle of the team, "Give them what they want! Let’s not waste time here.” "Yes, Mr. Logan," Tough Blazer bowed on horseback, then waved to the entourage behind him. "Do what Mr. Logan said." "Mr. Logan? Female Mr.? Don’t’ tell me it’s SweetPeach inside…” A movie started to play in Ivan’s head again. Several groups listened to the orders and took out food from the package then gave it to the robbers. No one noticed the shaking body and frightened face when they got the food they requested. "Let’s go!" Tough Blazer slapped his horse's backside.
