Chapter 11Skyler cursed under her breath when her fingertips tapped the wrong letter of the keyboard on her iPad. She was tech-savvy when it came to posting selfies on social media, but she was never required to sit inside of a classroom and take notes. She glanced around the classroom. It was cold and sterile. The white walls were decorated with paper-thin LED screens that showed animated diagrams of skeletal structures, muscle compositions, and the functions of each internal organ. There were mutated creatures inside of the jars that lined the long shelves on the walls.
