"Happy Birthday pie" Mom smiled as soon as she walked in.
"Thank you" I squealed as I hugged her.
I am the most excited today. I guess I'll be shifting today so I can officially become Carl's mate. If someone asks me if I am excited because of the early shift or because I'm gonna become Carl's mate, then I'll say because I'm gonna be Carl's mate.
