Demons and Wizards

Chapter 5

"Open the gates. Let my brother and his friends in," Kaydence yelled.

"Sorry young princess but the king said to leave the gates shut once all wizards have entered," a guard said.

"Not all wizards have entered," Kaydence yelled.

"The gates are not to open til all creatures are gone or dead," another guard.

"Let my brother and his friends in," Kaydence yelled.

"Jax Bex I didn't see Kace and everyone is fighting," Viotto said.

"Something isn't right," Bex said.

"What's not right? Where's brother? Why isn't he here," Kaydence asked.

"Is horse out there," Jax asked.

"Yes, I just didn't see him," Viotto answered.

"Open the gates please," Kaydence pleaded.

The guards just ignored her pleas. Jax and Bex walked over to the gate but the guards stopped them. Kaydence started crying and Viotto landed beside her to comfort her.

"Don't worry princess im sure Master is alright," Viotto said.

"Why isn't he here," Kaydence whispered.

Viotto was about to say something when he suddenly disappeared. Kaydence yelled for Jax and Bex then they came running over to her.

"Princess what's the problem," Bex asked.

"Viotto disappeared. Does that mean brother died," Kaydence asked.

"Not necessarily," Jax answered.

"He might have just called Viotto back to him," Bex said.

"Don't cry princess," Jax said.

Kaydence covered her eyes and knelt on the ground. The guards looked over at the princess. Jax and Bex looked over towards the gate. Kaydence kept whispering something under her breath.

Meanwhile, Flynn pulled Kace towards the gate away from the creatures. Zion and Xander knelt beside the prince. Flynn picked up his sword and started to fight once again. Wixx Caspian Reina and Lucuis made sure to keep the creatures away from Kace. Xander tapped Zion's shoulder.

What's wrong Xander," Zion said.

"I can heal him a little," Xander whispered.

"When did you learn that," Zion asked.

"I can't do much but I can heal him enough to keep him alive til he can get help," Xander said quietly.

Xander placed his hands above Kace's wounds. There was a yellow gleam of light for a couple of minutes then it was gone. Xander's hands fell to his sides. Zion quickly got up and moved beside Xander as he was about to fall over. Xavier and Flynn went back over to them.

"What happened," Xavier asked.

"He healed him enough to keep him alive," Zion answered.

"We will have to thank him when he wakes up," Xavier said.

Flynn looked through the gate and saw that Jax and Bex were standing on the other side with Kaydence.

"Jax Bex and Kaydence are there but the guards still won't open the gate," Flynn said turning back towards the others.

"Hey open the damn gate. We're gonna die out here and the prince is badly hurt," Xavier yelled angrily.

Kaydence looked towards the gate to see Xavier and Flynn. Both of them are bloody and Xavier seemed to be injured. She stood up then ran over to the lever and tried to pull it. The guards were about to stop when Jax and Bex stopped them. Jax went over and helped Kaydence pull the lever. The gate began to open. Flynn dragged Kace through the gate while Xavier picked up Xander and Zion led the horses. Once all were through Jax and Bex closed the gate.
