Cara’s POV I peeled off my scrubs, tossed them into the laundry basket, and grabbed my towel from the back of the chair. My body felt heavy with exhaustion, but my mind was sprinting around. The whole scene outside Jason’s frontdoor replayed over and over again like a bad TV drama. Who did that woman think she was?
