Cara’s POV
I had never been to this department before, but I needed to see Jason before I left so here I was. The emergency department was always very busy, but sometimes, it was calm.
Although, that calm might be the one before a storm, but nonetheless, it was a calm I knew the people working here would be happy to take. And this evening, it was calm.
I could tell as soon as I walked out of the elevator and down the hall to the open area. I wasn’t sure where Jason would be, but I was going to have to look around or ask someone.
“Dr. Maze, Emergency Department, please report to Room 12 immediately. Dr. Maze, Emergency Department to Room 12, STAT.” I heard from over the hospital speaker and I shook my head, wondering what was happening in room twelve.
