Cara’s POV
After dropping a text for Jason about going out, I slipped my phone back into my pocket before putting back the smile on my face.
I watched Daniel drove us and for a moment, all I could do was study him. I wondered what was going on in his mind right now, but I didn’t bother asking.
The last thing I wanted him to do was to shut down and regret taking us out. I wanted him to love this because I would be able to ask him out for more, because I knew Jason intended to keep me away from work a little more.
Also, I didn’t want him to think I was prying, so…
Finally, we got there and Daniel found a good spot to pack his car in, then we walked to the place where we would get the ice cream.
“Hello, can we get something for this little princess here.” Daniel said to the vendor as
