Slipping my phone into my pocket, I smiled with a shake of my head as I got into the elevator that would take me to the floor I was going.
Cara’s texts had been short and sharp, but I could picture her flushed cheeks and the way she fidgeted when she was trying to act unaffected.
I could tell even from where I was that Cara was already all flustered and all, and I just couldn’t wait to see the look on her face. That would be something priceless to see.
