Jason’s POV
“So she’s cleared to leave?” I asked Dr. Matthew and he nodded.
“Yes, Dr. Grey. For the hundredth time, your girlfriend is all right and ready to go home.” He said, giving me a look like I was being too serious with my question. I nodded with a small and told him I just wanted to be sure.
Quickly, I walked back to my office to change out of my scrubs. I should have gone to the locker room for that, but I couldn’t. That would take more time than just doing it here and then getting to Cara and getting her home.
I had missed her, missed having her beside me as we slept at night, but that was about to change. Speaking of change, I changed into a dark blue jeans and a white and black shirt. I was putting my computer into my bag when there was a knock on my door.
