Cara’s POV
The department head sat at the head of the long table, with all of us doctors; residents, attending physicians and fellows, all round it. We were having a meeting on the internal review for the last couple of months.
I sat there beside Daniel, with my hand pressed to my jaw, listening to the head talk when my phone vibrates in my pocket.
I glanced around the room to see everyone was so focused on Dr. Patricia, so I pulled out my phone to see it was a text from Jason.
Jason: Hey Peach. What are you doing right now?
Looking up quickly to make sure no one was paying attention to me, I quickly typed back a response to him.
Cara: I’m in one of those boring review meetings.
Jason: That’s awful, huh? Do you want me to tell you something nasty and hot?
Cara: Don’t even think
