Cara’s POV “Jason,” I said again, my voice shaky. His arm stayed firm around my waist, and I could feel the heat of his palm pressing into my back. My heart raced, thudding so loudly I was sure he could hear it. “Yes?” he asked, his voice low and smooth, that signature smirk playing on his lips. “I…I don’t think this is a good idea,” I stammered, trying to sound confident but failing miserably.
