Jason’s POV The emergency room was chaos, but as usual, that was normal for a Monday afternoon. I didn’t want to come to work today really. I wanted to stay home in bed with Cara, but she had told me she was coming to work as well for the afternoon shift, so I had no choice. Now, I was here, homesick and thinking of calling her.
