Finally, I picked up the “work” calls the next morning when Cara was still sleeping, and I walked out of the cabin to avoid her waking up and hearing our conversation.
“So, I’ve been calling you, but I just chucked it up to you being busy. I do know my sister can be handful.” Hunter said when I pressed the phone to my ear.
I chuckled, thinking about how much she was handful all right. If only he knew. I hated the fact that I was sneaking around with his sister behind his back, but I would just have to wait before telling him, at the right time.
Okay, maybe the right time might never come, but definitely , I wasn’t telling him now, not with everything going on. I would have to wait until after this was done.
