Cara’s POV The couch in the corner was calling my name, and for once, I didn’t have to fight for it. I collapsed onto the worn cushions, kicking off my shoes and closing my eyes. Jerry’s words still lingered in my mind, though, making me chuckle softly. Dr. Sally asking to have drinks with Jerry. The mental image alone was enough to make me shake my head.
