Jason’s POV The X-ray of a middle-aged man’s shoulder glowed on my screen, a clear outline of the fracture running diagonally across the bone. The patient would need surgery, but thankfully, it wasn’t anything too complex. Rubbing my temple as I stared at the screen, I leaned back in my chair, letting out a soft sigh as I saved my notes into his file. Just one more thing to wrap up, and I would be heading home to Cara. Goodness me, I saw her this morning and I was still missing her. It was as if I had never had a woman before in my life. Well, in a way, I hadn’t, because none of them was like Cara, and I never felt like this with any of them. The thought of her brought a faint smile to my face. Thinking about her name, saying it mentally, seem like a thrill enough for me. Cara! J
