Just as I turned to leave, I heard Dr. Harvard behind me exclaimed. “Hey, Cadillac. Is that you?” I heard him ask and I was surprised because he was new.
Well, it wasn’t out of place that he met someone he knew seeing as he was a doctor himself, resident or not, and he must have known whoever it was from school.
Still behind me, I heard the person he was referring to as Cadillac answered. “Oh my goodness, Jerry.”
Cara? I turned to look at her to see a smile on her face and she walked up to Dr. Harvard to hug him. “It’s been ages since I last saw you, Cadillac.” He said, causing me to scrunch up my nose.
I clenched my jaw as I watched them hug like old friends at a college reunion. Cadillac? What kind of nickname was that? And since when did Cara and Dr. Harvard… sorry, J
