CHAPTER 15

"So, why are you here?" Ava ask Adam after he guides her to his car.

"You said that we just met so I thought that maybe, a date could help." He answered making her smile.

"A date, huh? Then, where are you taking me?" She ask while looking at the man who is concentrated on driving the car.

"Hmm. At my condo." He said making her eyes widen. She jokingly hug herself and look at him like he's going to do something naughty to her. Adam grin after seeing her face.

"I'm not doing that... But if you want..." He laughs after. Ava hit lightly his arm near her before looking ahead.

It might be true that they just met but they knew something is sparking between them. Ava knew that it was because the system pointed out that this two bodies be destined. So she is going with the flow.

What's wrong with a little flirt? Besides, Adam is handsome. Again, she was reminded of what she just said a while ago...

"Mmm." She smiled. "I run to you."

Ava smiled with awkwardness. She and Alex has been fighting what to say that us why she blurted out those lines.

I mean, I run to you?! Seriously?!

"Well, at least, Racelle, you can make sure that your love life will progress." Alex explained in her head. This voice was the answer. It was the reason why she said those words.

Whatever, Alex!

"So, what are we going to do?" She ask to Adam.

The man look over to him before laughing.

"You look excited." She told him making him more laugh.

"I actually searched on goggle what to do on first dates. I thought that some of them are cliches but I like this one for I think we'll both enjoy it." He explained making her laugh this time.

"You searched what to do? It's good that you're not embarrassed to actually say that to me." She said while giggling.

"What's the use? Anyone will guess that you are the first girl I will date, everyone who doesn't have any experience at my age relies on Google for this kinds of situations." He confessed while laughing.

"Oh right! Thank God there is Google for all of you." She said.

The two laugh together with that statement. Both of them doesn't have any experience in this kinds of things. And they are not afraid to say it. What's really important is that they say what they want to say. They are open-minded. And it is clear to them where their boundaries are.

The car entered a big building and parked. As soon as they entered the elevator in full mirror upside down, with the railing in gold color, you can already see the luxurious style of it. The name of the condominium is Avery. It is one of the most fanciest condominium hotels around the city. Many famous and big personnel reside or have bought already in there. It is not a question how Adam had a penthouse there. He is big.

As they reached the top most floor, they entered a grand penthouse with a second floor. Everything is divided with glass making everything see-through to guests. Good thing that the rooms are divided of walls and is sound proof.

The penthouse is also controlled automatically by the owner's voice. As Adam command for the curtains to move sideways, the curtains open making them see the lights from cars and building reflecting to the night. As they reside on the top floor, they can see everything below them. It was quite a scenery.

"You have a nice penthouse." She said.

"Hmm. It has 5 bedrooms, you can have one if you want. Want to move in?" He jokingly said but because Racelle is feeling to be naughty at the moment she looked at him with a glint in her eyes.

"Why not?" She said while making her voice hoarse. It is quite a frank move. Adam could tell that the girl is flirting with him. He look at her intently.

"You don't mean that. Ava should be aware, I may not be taking your jokes right now but I am seriously looking at you." Ava stared at him. The girl's grin slowly faded.

"Seems like I was overboard." She said. After a while, Adam smiled again with his gentleman demeanor.

"What do you want for dinner?" He asked her.

"Shall I help you cook?" She ask.

"Hmm. Let's check what's in my fridge."

The two decided to cook steak that night. Ava also called her parents that she will sleep at Adam's. Adam talk to her parents for a while before smilingly told her that it was okay for them. In reality, Adam told them that they shouldn't be worry. He will not act out of line. As the two consumed the night with talks, they quietly sit on the couch watching movies.

"What do you think of me?" Adam ask her suddenly. She look at him before pouting.

"You are cute." The man's eyebrows meet for a moment, she clearly saw it.

"Yup." She grinned.

"Cute, huh? That was unexpected." He said before looking over at her.

"Well, you are pretty." He then replied making her laugh. "What?" He ask as he laugh with her.

"Are you flirting with me?" She asked.

"You are the first who flirted. I thought I'll give it back." He said. The two stare at each other.

"You love cooking?" Ava ask out of nowhere.

"Mmm." The man answered while still holding their stares.

"We are staring too much." Ava was about to look away when the man caught her chin and suddenly kissed her. Her eyes widen as she stare at the man who is closing his eyes. The man seemed to realized that she is just staring at him as he pull out of their kiss.

"Close your eyes." He whispered before kissing her again deeply. This time she did what he said. She closes her eyes and feel their kiss. The man then tried to enter her mouth with his tongue which she accepted. Their kiss lasted like forever and they just ended it as they were out of breathe. After coping up, the two stared at each other and laugh suddenly. Adam pull her into a hug and she just let him be. She also encircled her arms around his neck and find a comfortable place before closing her eyes.

"Is this too fast?" She ask him.

"There is nothing fast when you like someone and she also likes you back." He answered with a proud voice. She laughs.

"You are proclaiming that I like you?"

"You kissed me back and flirted with me. You, 100%, like me." He exclaimed making her laugh.

"Mmm. I really like you." She said. Inside of Racelle's head, she let out a maniac laugh...

Alex! I caught a man and he us really handsome! I will not leave this world. Not until I will get the chance to r**e him!

"Please, pull yourself together, Racelle. You should not commit a crime." Alex reminded the old virgin lady. Alex didn't know if it will be sorry or what to this character, Adam.

Racelle has been so focused on her job in her previous life that she is now so desperate.

There is nothing to worry about, not this time. An old lady like me giving a chance to have a lover is the purpose of me going here. Here, this is one of the secrets that Racelle has been keeping. She would not let this chance to leave her.
