GOAL: Female Lead, No Matter What

CHAPTER 3

The girl possesses a fine fair skin, almost reflects the lights up from the chandelier above. Her brunette hair mystically flows like as if swimming in the gentle wind even if the room's windows are closed. Her cute pointy nose gave her an innocent look partnered with her natural pinkish lips. Eve is a great example of a girl in her peak. Her body is starting to grow and be more define in her curves at the age of 16, she will just start her senior high school. This is a very familiar look, Ava used to have that face, too. The only difference is that she possesses a more voluptuous body and has an image of sexy unlike Eve who has an innocent look.

Ava suddenly realizes, the day her dad will plan to kill Gracie's parents is nearing. Now, she is looking at her sister just when she saw her reflection on the mirror, she started feeling some doubts. She really needs to do something about this mummy-like bandage around her head.

"What?" She asked again. Eve blink several times before smiling sweetly.

"I've heard that you came back. I am so worried about you. I hope you're fine." Eve excused which almost made Ava laugh out loud.

You can visit me in the hospital with your mother but you never did. Who was worried with whom?

This is what inside her head but Ava maintained her poker face look. Even if the girl cannot really see her face, her eyes would tell everything so has to act perfectly.

Ava decided not to reply but ignore the girl.

Does she look like she's fine? Look at my mummy head, see if I am fine! Ava wants to literally strangle this girl. What a two-face!

As Eve noticed that her twin sister would definitely ignore her, she decided to welcome herself and went in her room. She vigilantly move closer to her sister. For some reason, she felt like this sister of her knows what she has done. A flashback came into her...

She and her circle of friends decided to have a trip before they will be separated for some of their friends will be attending senior high school in other country. Eve is part of this in-circle of the campus. This group of hers only accepts those who are worth-it. They are all rich and beautiful. Her twin sister, Ava, is not part of it because they see her as a weird girl. She doesn't talk much and always read complicated books which turned off many students. In addition, Ava likes to hang out with the geeks.

To have some fun, Eve's friends decided that she should invite her nerd twin sister to have some entertainment while they are at the mountain hiking. At first, her friends just jokes around Ava and eventually played a prank on her. At midnight, they all know that Ava wakes up with just a little noise so they all decided to give her a little horror. This didn’t went well and Eve became the target when Ava didn't let them pass for their immature acts. This made Eve really hated Ava for she thought that Ava is the reason why her friends are hitting on her.

Eve followed Ava when she walked out and had a fight. Because of the words that Ava said to her which hurt her so much, she pushed Ava by the cliff just behind her. At first, she was shocked and afraid but after staring at Ava falling, she suddenly felt like this isn't bad.

Besides, this sister of her is not that well. Her mother hates Ava for she is a complete failure from the image their mother wants her to be. Their father doesn't really care for her. She has no friends. And she finds her a big hindrance for some reason. Eve didn't notice that an evil smile was plastered in her face. For a little girl to possess such expression of a criminal, she didn't know that she is slowly letting her little evil thoughts conquer her.

Eve gradually let out a smile after she recall what she has done. The doctor said that Ava suffered from an amnesia and even if not, Ava didn't see her push her. She pushed her when she was facing back to her. She will just excuse that the ground is nit steady and she almost fell, too, just like what she excused when everyone asked her what happened. But Eve didn't let that smile stay that long when she saw Ava staring at her. She immediately let out a smile.

"What is it, sister? Do you need something?" She asked her. This girl did change. Maybe, this is the result of amnesia. She seemed so different.

"No, you. Do you need something?" Ava exchange the same question to her which made her tense up.

Eve recovered and showed a forced smile.

"Ah, no. Am I disturbing you? Well, then, relax, I will go now." She said before standing up while not letting Ava leave her sight. The two stared at each other for a while before she smile and turn around. As she opens the door she looked back just to see a pair of killing eyes which surprised her. She automatically became protective to herself. As she see Ava changing her eyes into an emotionless, she again became aware of everything.

This girl did knew something. She locked the door before running into her room. Her heart is beating fast but as she saw her face on her glass windows, she smiled. Still, what if she knew? No one will believe her. She could just say that maybe Ava is suffering from a mental instability from her accident.

Back to Ava's room, Ava is now back to her killing intent. Eve is much more dangerous than what she thought of. The girl is too much of a handle. At such young age, she should start planning. She needs to stop this crazy twin sister of hers.

“I didn’t know that she is that crazy!” She talk to Alex.

“To make you more understand it, Racelle. It seems like Eve do really have some mental issue.”

“What? And you want me to deal with her? I am a completely average person!”

“Yes, Racelle. You are an average person who can hear me, a mechanical voice inside your head.” 

Racelle was speechless after what Alex answered.

“I didn’t think that you will be so haughty…” She utter to Alex but the voice didn’t reply. “So, you are ignoring me now. Great! Just great!”
