GOAL: Female Lead, No Matter What

CHAPTER 6

You have successfully accomplished the side goal. As for the prize, you have received intelligence 30%. You have also already enough experience to open the store to buy items using experience points.

"It looks like the reason for the murder of the Jones was because there is already some heating up between each family. It looks like there is no friendly ties between the two families at all like what outsiders knew of." Alex said to her.

"Looks like it."

"You can open the store now, Racelle."

Ava curiously look in the store to see several items like intelligence, memory plus, beauty plus and others. As she look at her experience points, she is still lacking some to buy something. She decided to just focus on the party.

Subsequently, Zachary and Meaghan decided to depart wearing their forced fake smiles on. The party continues as several businessman who wanted to have any ties with the Walkers talk to them and inaudibly propose some ideas for future collaborations. The night pass through as Ava and Bill settle to leave earlier than expected.

Meanwhile, in the house of the walkers, Heaven and Eve were waiting for Ava and Bill. Heaven can not believe that the Bill has chosen to include Ava at the party and leave the both of them at home. They are in the living room when the head butler announced that Bill and Ava arrived.

Bill looked surprised when he saw Heaven and Eve waiting for them.

"Have you guys been waiting?" He asked them.

Eve smiled before glancing at Ava back to Bill.

"Dad, you didn't let me come with you. I am quite jealous." Eve acted like a spoiled daughter which made Bill smiled for this is the first time Eve spoke to him this way.

"For sure if the event is not that formal, I will let you all come with me." He explained. He knew that these two ladies aren't even that interested in the event but is only jealous for he only choose Ava to be with him.

Eve giggled after what Bill said. She then asked to leave first. She has done her purpose for waiting for them. To tell Ava that she is not the only one that could be treated good by their Father.

Ava decided to go in her room, too, leaving Heaven and Bill together. As the two went to the master's bedroom, Heaven thought of their marriage. Heaven and Bill's marriage is a result of the arrangement for ties between families and business. They didn't really know each other when they got married. Of course, as time passes by, Heaven learned to love Bill but the man doesn't show any feelings towards her. It was difficult. She tried all the things she could do to have a bit of his attention but he is focused on their business.

When she got pregnant with the twins, she got his attention. He suddenly pour all of his attention to her. But when their kids grew up and he seemed to realize that they don't have anything to help him with like being an heiress for his company, she lost all of his attention again for business.

She couldn't blame it to her children so she wanted them to do better. As a lady, they should at least possess something that could be worth it to be arranged with other big families. But she was disappointed with Ava, the girl is the complete opposite of what a lady should be. Fortunately, Eve was there. Her little girl is good at everything she makes her do unlike Ava. She doesn't want to push it hard for Ava so she just let her attention be with Eve. But it shocked her when Ava suddenly showed interest in Business which caught Bill's attention. Looking at Eve, she felt like all her efforts are in vain. She doesn't want to feel like a jealous teenager but she suddenly want Eve to have Bill's attention. This way, she feels like she have done something good.

Bill, on the other hand, is completely unaware of everything. It is a truth that he puts all of his attention to business but this is because of his promise with his in-laws and parents. He loves Heaven and he knew all her efforts for the both of their daughters. He also understand why Heaven put almost all of her attention to Eve. Ava is the opposite of Heaven and Eve. She is someone Heaven couldn't understand for they see and interpret things differently and because Heaven understand Eve more than Ava, she did a decision to let Ava do all the things she wanted and to not bother her. This is how Bill sees it for he thinks Ava is just like him.

It is a half truth and a half lie. Ava truly is like Bill but he decided to ignore the fact that Ava is just a kid and will see these things differently, same with Heaven. A child will always seek for her parents attention and with Bill and Heaven completely letting Ava do what she wanted, the girl saw this as her parents not liking her at all. Creating a hateful feeling towards Eve who had her mother's attention.

The day came when school starts, as usual, Eve and Ava arrived together. New school, new classmates, the both started fresh again.

As soon as Ava stepped out of the black car, a notification appeared.

Side Mission: Be a social butterfly.

"What is this, Alex?!"

"To be a female lead, you should possess some good treats with you." Alex answered.

"I have some good treats without being a social climber!"

"Racelle, a social climber and social butterfly are two different things. A social_."

"Okay! Quit it! I know!"

She couldn't help but sigh. This is one of the most hateful thing she would do even before her past lifetime. She looked at Eve who is so excited and eventually flew off. Right, she flew off like as if her feet are floating. Well, maybe, being sociable could help in her future missions.

This day gone by, as Ava started making friends. She is now known as the top 1 in their batch and is quite active in academic and extra curricular activities, too. She became the teachers favorite because of her image and influence to other students. Whatever she does becomes a thing in the whole campus. Of course, this is with the help of Alex.

One day, she also met the male lead's story, Jake Hudson and his best buddy, Crawd Williams who is also the second male lead. The story hasn't been starting at this point but Eve and Jake are already engage without them knowing it. They have been engage since birth, to be honest.

Suddenly, a notification popped out again after several months.

"Oh, you are back, Alex! Long time no speak to you!"

"It's because Racelle is incompetent and work so slowly."

"Huh?! Just give me whatever this is all about!"

"One of the story's conflict will start soon by Crawd Williams meeting the twin sister, Eve. You have given the mission to restrain this to happen by making sure, Crawd Williams will not fall in love with Eve."

"Say what?!"
