CHAPTER 7

Crawd and Jake are quite famous which is why finding or searching where they usually hang out isn't a problem. Ava has been trying to ponder whatever she could do to get Crawd's attention.
This side mission is making my head ache! She thought to herself.
“Alex, why?!”
“For the female lead role. There are no free things in the world. You should know that, Racelle. Back in your world, you don’t really put attention in your work. You would rather read than work which is why you can only be classified as an employee at a small business.”
“f**k off.”
At the moment, she is now at the bleachers near the soccer field. Crawd is a soccer athlete while Jake is in basketball and it is known that he and Jake usually stays for several minutes in the bleachers after their training. She's been there for two weeks now and acting like a mob.
Both of the guys also didn't seem to regard her presence, also. While she is there reading or drawing something, both of them talk and laughs on the other side with some of their fan girls. They've been like that for the whole two weeks and she is getting bored from this. Ava is even thinking if her current beauty is not enough. She is consuming more and more experience points in beauty than anything else these two weeks. And now, she wants to end all of this or maybe, at least start something.
Crawd is currently practicing his training with other members of the soccer club while Jake might still be training basketball, also. Since, she is targeting Crawd, she doesn't really care about the latter.
After some few minutes, they finished training, as usual, Crawd will search and drink for his water which she snatched. Yes, she stole it. He is searching everywhere in his bag. Ava couldn't control her smiles as she pretend to read the book she is holding and smile weakly.
This way, they could just imagine me smiling with whatever that I am reading.
He is still flipping his things when he gave up. Crawd is really in need for water and because his fan girls are still not here because those girls usually will be here when the two of them are together, she is in an advantage. The guy is breathing heavily. He doesn't want to go to the cafeteria which is like a kilometer far away from him right now.
"Ahh." She heard him sighed.
Inside of Crawd's mind, this is the moment he wished those fan girls of them are here to hive him some water.
Why is it that when you needed something, that's when they are gone?! He thought in his mind. He look over the bleachers to see one girl there.
Ah, yes. It's Ava Walker. The top 1 student in their batch and also a popular social butterfly. She's been there for like two weeks reading and drawing something. Both him and Jake are not disturbing her for...Nothing. It's just that, she looks like a painting that you should interrupt because everything will be ruined.
As Crawd look and stare at Ava's face, the guy slowly feel his face heating. There is something new to her.
She's smiling! This is the first time she smiled like the whole year!
Crawd silently smiled after this. Ava is really popular because of her looks. Even though she has a twin, there is something refreshing about her looks that will make you think that she is a completely different person from her twin. He doesn't even know what is Ava's twin sister's name!
There is Ava already! There is nothing to see to her twin sister.
The seniors from his soccer club are also ogling at Ava since she hangs out in the bleachers. They don't usually train so hard. What the seniors does is command them, the juniors, to do crazy stuffs everyday but since they saw her, they are all now training like some serious people. It made him laugh sometimes. They are all motivated by her.
It even became a popular thing that Ava is hanging out here in the whole campus. Many guys are loitering around as usual.
As Crawd stares at Ava for like a minute, Ava decided to start her mission. She pretended like she felt someone staring as she turn her head into his direction and made an eye contact. Crawd looked like he is shocked as he saw those eyes casting in front of him.
Ava look around her before looking to Crawd again. After moments of staring, Ava stand up and walk over to Crawd. The guy is now suffering from a dilemma of heart attack as he can even hear is her at beating fast like some horses racing inside him. He didn't even notice the water bottle in Ava's hands.
He completely stare at her until the girl reached out a bottle. He unknowingly accept it. Ava look at him and the bottle several times before he get into his head and look at the water bottle and look over to Ava again.
Ava smiled at him before saying the first words Crawd will hear from her.
"Are you not thirsty," She asked him.
Crawd blinks several times before sighing.
"Ah, right." He stared at the almost half water in the bottle.
This means she already drink from this!
He look at Ava before shyly drinking in the water. As he look at Ava, he saw her smiling causing him to cough what he is drinking. He even felt some of the water getting into his nose.
He felt soft light hands patting his back and even a sweet smelling handkerchief wiping the water trailing in his jawline. Immediately, a red color tainted Crawd's ear and forehead. He never blushes but when he does, it's not on his cheeks but on his ears, forehead and back of his neck.
"Look at you, you splattered water all over you. You have to be careful next time." The girl said to him making him more red.
He feels like she is her mother giving him, the child, some learnings. He remembered his mother. This is the first time someone appeared that he could think of as his mother! How embarrassing!
But I actually like this feeling of being spoiled. He even smiled without him knowing it.
