CHAPTER 12

Several weeks have passed and Eve's straightforward actions of love made Jake hate her more and more. He thinks that Eve is so frank. He wants a girl that is sweet who knows her place. Someone who doesn't show their full motives like Eve. He wants a girl that is smart and is liked by all. He wants someone like Ava, not someone like Eve.

If he only knew what kind of girl really is Ava, then, he might change his mind. But as a person who have set his standards, everything that Eve does is something wrong in his perspective. Every time he will see Eve, there will be an immediate response from him like he is disgusted even without him knowing it. And as a loved daughter, Eve never in her entire life was treated like this. Yes, she is not that close to her Dad but he always give her everything that she wanted, be it a million worth of dress or jewelry.

One day, Jake had it enough and blurted out something that he will regret. As usual, they are in the cafeteria with Eve almost feeding Jake every single food that was prepared. Things have been like this when Jake directly ask Eve to feed him. The girl interpret it as the guy flirting with him but the truth was ugly.

Jake has been using Eve to make Ava jealous. He made her do all sweet things to him while trying to see whether the girl across them would bat them an eye with some jealousy with them not fondness. But seeing Ava looking like she us not even bothered by all the cheesy things they've been doing, Jake look at Eve now as someone who is worthless.

One day, while Jake is trying to make Ava jealous and lost his temper for the girl is not showing what he wanted her to feel, he grab Ava's hands and try to pull her close to him. Seeing this, Eve immediately push Ava away.

"You're such a slut, Ava! You already knew that Jake and I have something but you_." She was stopped by a push from Jake.

"Eve, you are the slut! Unlike Ava, you act more like it. You even act like a b***h! You are nothing like Ava! You are so disgusting!" Jake shouted at her. Eve started wavering but as she saw Ava looking at them with eyes like she is being entertained her anger took another height.

"Who would want to be Ava! As far from what I know, I am a better person!" Eve said believing herself proudly.

"I would want to! If I can just change everything to make her mine I would!" Jake exclaimed making everyone looking gasp by his confession.

Even Ava seemed so shock by this. She didn't thought that Jake would be interested to her.

Did I flirted with you like Crawd? As far from what I know, since I succeeded my mission I even stop staring at both of them. But what the hell, Mister Male Lead? What happened to you? Where is that Gracie, by the way? She is becoming a cannon fodder than me now. She thought to herself.

"A_Ah... Jake, that is..." Eve started sobbing. She doesn't even know what to say anymore. She was suddenly hit by this realization. "It's always been Ava, is that it?" She asked him. Eve knew her twin's reputation. She is known as the perfect girl and is being love by everyone while everyone hates her. All of these made Eve feel so degraded and feel so little. Her confidence slowly reduces by shame.

"Is it wrong to be like me? Yes, I am bad but I only act like this because they started it. I never fought with someone who didn't do anything wrong with me..." Eve started blurting out her perceptions. In fact, Eve is jealous to Ava which caused her to do bad things just to tell herself that she is enough. All the things she had done was because of her jealousy to her twin sister. She never stopped until she can prove herself that she is better which turned out to be, she's not. And she will never be.

Eve run away after she just revealed every single thing that she is afraid anyone will know but now, everyone knew about it. Jake looks in shock after what happened. His heart softened after knowing Eve's hidden thoughts. Every single words that she said will make everyone know that she is just a little girl who is afraid of dealing with herself and afraid that she just not on par with people around her. Jake thought that he clearly saw himself with Eve. He understood her better than anyone else at that time. Eve is just like him.

At that time, Ava never really cared whatever Eve is saying. For her, Eve is just too weak for her. She didn't understand because is she ever faced those problems she could deal with it differently that would make her be put on a safe side as a result. They are so completely different person that she cannot understand what is the point of Eve. Truly, people who live in different lives wouldn't understand someone who didn't live life like them. Suddenly a notification appeared.

Ava's eyes widen. She cannot believe this system.

Alex!

"Yes, Racelle?" A mechanical voice ask.

Alex! Now, Racelle suddenly wants to cry. You're back! Alex! What is happening?

"It seems because of your existence, everything is now going on your plan. The story is adjusting to your character's positive outcomes." Alex explained.

Oh, is that so? Is it bad or good? I mean, that change everything?

"Well, after the system will recover from the glitch that you have made, it will try to eradicate your existence which is why you should be careful."

Speaking of glitch, what happened to you?

"You are the reason, Racelle. Because of the changing that you caused, the system got some glitch which even caused almost all of us to glitch."

All of you?

"I am not the only voice roaming around, you see."

"Yes, but do not worry. You will never encounter someone like you becayse the system is supervising all of us."

But you just glitched! Maybe_.

"Which is why I was gone. I was upgraded. Every single one like me was summoned to try not to make things like those happen. So, do not worry."

Ah, okay. So, what will I do now?

"You should probably look for your sister, Eve, and try to succeed your mission, Racelle."

Hahaha! Right. Off I go, then.

At home, Ava saw Eve in her room crying on her pillow. She knows that Eve knew she is the one who entered her room. Ava shake her head seeing even the difference of their rooms. Eve's room is like barbie house in living. Every single thing is in pink. Thankfully, not in hot pink but baby pink which is pleasant to the eyes. Her room is like a princess' room. A little girl's dream of her room, that is exactly what it is.

"Eve." She called out to her. When the girl didn't response she sit on the side of her bed. "I know that you were hurt by what Jake told you. But you know, what you did to me is what should you be crying." Ava started.

Racelle, your mission is to be friends with her, if you forgot. Alex reminded her which she just ignore.

This girl here should know what is overboard.

"Are you here to tell that to me?!" Eve shouted.

"Yes! I am! You b***h, now you are crying for what someone told you? You know what, that is just a half of what you truly are! You are a sick, crazy b***h who can push her sister in a cliff and actually grin after what you did! You are a psychotic b***h!" Ava shouted causing Eve to be shock that she forgot to reply as Ava continued. "You are crying for those petty words but not to yourself who is in the line of being a criminal and a crazy b***h. That is what you should be crying of, you know. I will never forgive you! f**k these missions! Who cares? You are a crazy stupid brat, did you know that? You should! Oh, no! Now, you know! If I am just as crazy as you are, I should just kill you, you know? I don't care about your problems but if you drag us down with you, suck your ass! 'Cause I am not letting that to happen." She shouted back before knocking her head with Eve's causing a loud thud and their groans with the pain.

"Ouch!"

"Augh!"

"You crazy!"

"No, you are!"

After that, the twins ramble around tossing each other making all the things around them be thrown at disarray. This is the first time they really fought physically. Thankfully, the room is soundproof.

It might sound so crazy but after their shouts and rambles, the two sat on the floor, crying with their snots pouring on the floor and their wounds from their own scratches are bleeding. Their hairs are now either, fell on the floor after their pulling or in each others hands. They are a mess, that's it. After a minute of just staring, it seems like all of their hidden hatred from each other vanished.

"I hate you to the end." Eve said.

"I hate you more than hell could hate heaven." Ava replied.

After a while, the two are now preparing for another fight when they heard a knock on the door and a maid pushing the room but was stopped because their was a lamp blocking the door. The maid peek just to see the two young misses of the Walkers in disarray and anyone could see that they just finished fighting but seeing the things all torn or thrown, the maid shivered.

"The Master and Madame are inviting you to the dining room, young misses. I will go now." She immediately run away thinking...

The young misses are so barbaric when fighting.

That night, only Ava went on the dining room. Eve excused herself with some fever. Going in the dining room, Ava saw another person's unfamiliar back.

"Dad, Mom." She called their presence.

As the three people look over, Ava saw the man's face which shocked her. Her heart beats faster than ever and her body hairs stood up from his eyes. At that time, she knew, this is the man for her but wondered...

I will only meet him if I befriend Eve so why...What the hell? So, Eve is now friendly with me after that fight? She couldn't help but laugh. That girl is really crazy.

"Ah, hello, Miss Ava Walker, right?" The unknown yet familiar man ask her.

Ava smiled before accepting his hands which reached out for a shake of hands. As she receive that grin from him she couldn't help but giggle.

"That is right, Mister. I am Ava Walker and you are?"

"Adam. Adam Finley, Ava." He introduced himself causing her to shudder. His voice calling her name feels so right.

Her eyes flutter as her heart skips a beat again and again. Their eyes meet and everything turns blurry. Only themselves could see each other. How could destined partners meeting feel so magical. Their hands never left after that grip making the Walkers couple cough as the two brought back to reality.

Bill laugh after seeing the two turn to be so fit to each other. Heaven also smiled sincerely, another daughter of her is now again being given, but seeing these two people's interaction makes her smile.

If only they are like that, too. She thought to herself.

"Well, it seems like the two of you already clicked so I don't have to be so cautious. I know that you two already knew about this happening for this is a very common thing to happen between families like us. You two are engage." Bill said.
