It took a lot longer than I anticipated, but we managed to get everything done. The hardest part was dragging Liam’s unconscious body down several flights of stairs without anyone noticing us. With guards more concerned about security at the territory border, rogues and other people potentially coming in, it seemed they didn’t pay too much attention to inside the packhouse mansion itself. I guess no one really expected the Alpha, of all people, to be in danger inside his own home, especially since he shared the ridiculously large accommodation with only trusted friends, ranked members and their families.
