Chapter 17The late morning sun’s rays were creeping across the dark tan carpeting, and up onto the foot of the bed. Two figures lay snuggled against one another. Blue eyes slowly open. A big smile spread across Dakoda’s face when she saw the blonde crown of hair beneath her chin, and felt the arms holding onto her firmly. Slightly turning her head, so as to not wake her charge, she attempted to look at the clock on the nightstand. She then realized too soon that moving resulted in Avery pressing closer against her body.
The sleeping woman pushed her face closer against the crook of Dakoda’s neck. Her lips and steady breathing were lightly brushing the sensitive skin. In her state of sleep, she subconsciously kissed the sumptuous throat.
Dakoda couldn’t stop the shiver that passed through
