In our wolf forms, my mate and I sprinted through the brush near the water's edge, hoping we would come across the rest of our little nucleus. The relief I felt with Prayut finally gone allowed me to run as if I was gliding across ice, well at least what I imagined it would feel like, for Siam never had been cold enough to be frozen over.
“Manow, we really made it," I sighed, speaking to my wolf.
I was so happy to hear her voice again after all this time. “Indeed, we did." She didn't seem to be as ecstatic with the outcome as I had. Maybe she was worried about a new threat emerging?
