It has been two hours since I lied down on the bed and since Zac has fallen asleep beside me, yet, here I am still wide awake.
I sighed as I stared at the ceiling. The guest room is covered in silence, and the only source of light here is the moonlight passing through the glass window.
I looked at Zac and saw how peaceful his face looks as he sleeps deeply. I moved slowly and lied on my right side as I stared at my husband’s face. Then, I remembered what Aileen said to me earlier.
