Emily POV The first rays of sunlight slipped through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow across the room. Outside, birds chirped their gentle morning songs as a cool breeze rustled the leaves. The aroma of fresh coffee curled up from the kitchen. A sleepy stretch, a yawn escaping my lips, and the world quietly waking up with a peaceful promise.
