"Then why are you marrying, Audrey? If you are with Sarah?"

Audrey's Pov
My phone buzzed breaking the awkward silence. It was Kylie.
"Bring cake to my grave and dig it beside me." I chuckled at the thought of Kylie jumping out of the car. I didn't think the car ride with Lauren would be that bad.
My phone buzzed again but it was Sarah this time. The tension in the air rose as I pressed her name.
"If you want me to believe you, then break this marriage at all costs." This is my only chance I have to do this.
"How do you know, Sarah?" Connor asked.
Should I tell him? I mean it isn't any of his business. I think it is better to stay quiet.
"Aren't you gonna answer?" he said, getting annoyed. He ran his hand through his hair due to frustration. His hair went all over the place which made me laugh because his hair resembled Edward Scissor hands.
"Why are you laughing?" He asked. I tried to tell him but I couldn't. He probably thinks I am weird. He stopped the car harshly making me jerk frontwards and then backwards. The sound of my laughter died and I straightened myself up.
"Stop laughing, you are so annoying and one more thing: break this marriage at all costs. I can't break it so-" I laughed bitterly once again and this time it was because I was frustrated. He looked at me strangely as I laughed.
"What do you think I am doing, Connor? What have I been doing the past two days. I've been trying." I told him.
"It doesn't seem like you are trying. It seems like you want to marry me and-"
"I want to marry you? Are you kidding me? I will tell you this once so get this into your sick brain. I don't want to marry you and heck I would never want to. Also, you are Sarah's boyfriend even if I did like you I would never do that...you got that? If you didn't, then may the lord help you Connor." I spat out frustrated. Why won't Sarah and Connor believe me?
"What do you mean 'to Sarah'? No one knows that we are dating." He asked ignoring what I said.
"That's none of your business." I said and looked out the window and ignored him for the rest of the ride.
"Get out," Connor said. I looked around to see that the school was a bit far from where he parked.
"Why?" I asked and that's when I remembered and instantly smiled. They are going public. I quickly took my seat belt off before he could say anything.
"I'll go, but you can't reveal your relationship looking like this," I know Sarah and I aren't in the best terms right now but I still care about her and her happiness. This day means a lot to her; it is something that she has been talking about for years.
"How-"
"Shut up and what the hell is wrong with your hair?" I gave him a disgusted look as I inspected him.
"What-"
"Shh." I questioned him. I grabbed his face so it was towards me and I fixed his hair by running my hands through his hair. He waked my hand as I tried to fix his hair.
"Did anyone ever tell you that you are annoying, Connor?" I smiled internally because he called me annoying earlier. He just glared at me and put his head down so that I could fix it. How does it feel now Connor?
"Good boy." I pat down his hair. The smell of his cologne intoxicated the car making me uneasy. His hair had a combination of rough and smooth and I couldn't help and touch his hair. I lightly pull his hair. I shouldn't be thinking about this.
"What-" He looked up at me and I realized that our faces were really close to one another. His face was heating up and his ears were slightly red. I quickly take my hands out of his hair and move back to my seat. I took a deep breath and looked at him and noticed that the back of his neck was turning red. He's blushing. I looked away slightly smiling but stopped. What the hell am I thinking no stop.
"Good luck," I gave him an awkward thumbs up and opened the car door but stopped and turned around.
"Don't worry about the marriage thing, I'll take care of it. Just take care of Sarah okay?" I said. His eyes slightly softened and he nodded.
"Thank you." He muttered.
I got out of the car and saw him drive off and I made my way to the school. I turn my phone on and check which locker I have. Locker 283. I make my ways inside and try to find my locker. They emailed us our schedules making it easy for all of us. Once I found it, I checked my schedule to see what I have first period, Math.
I grabbed the things I needed for class and looked around to see which room it was. That is when I saw them a group with about eight people laughing. Connor and Sarah were both smiling as they held hands, but the laughter died when he saw me. I give him a tight smile and look for my classroom.
Slowly the class filled up and so did the teacher, but Kylie was nowhere to be found. Right then someone bumps into the teacher spilling iced coffee on the teacher. Speaking of the devil, she is already causing trouble on the first day and I couldn't help but laugh lightly.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to." She said nervously. She continued to apologize until she sat down in her seat which was right next to me. I look around to see Connor and Sarah sitting right next to each other along with their friends.
"I was going to let you sit where you are currently sitting but since my mood is slightly off now I will be the one choosing." She said while looking directly at Kylie.
"Audrey I don't want to move." Kylie whispered to me.
"I don't either," I whispered back.
"Audrey can stay,'' she said. Hold on a second, how does she know my name without the attendance sheet?
"You, the one who spilled coffee on me, sat behind her," Kylie looked at me and gave me a sad smile.
"Connor, you're sitting next to Audrey and whoever you are sitting behind him,'' she said. Ryker sat down next to Kylie and Connor stood in front of the desk.
"Well that's it for now so class-", before she could finish Connor cut her off.
"What about the rest of the class? Aren't you gonna move them as well? How do you only know our names and-" as if he realized something, his face hardened. He slammed his backpack on the table which made everyone turn around and look at him because Connor never behaved this way. He takes his phone out and dials someone's number.
"Connor, you can't call someone during class", the teacher said. Connor scoffed and glared at the teacher and said "I don't care," angrily.
"You will-" he cut the teacher off by talking to whoever he called.
"You did this didn't you?... What? You are lying... you know what I'm done." He ended the call and looked at me.
"Come with me." He grabbed my wrist making me jolt out of my chair.
"What are you doing?" The teacher asked.
"I know who you are, but cut the act." The teacher didn't say anything and he dragged me outside the classroom.
"We have the same classes because of your parents." He spat out angrily.
"I'll talk to him. I can switch out-"
"They said it was your idea." Connor spat out. I didn't do that though? I would never...why would they say that?
"You have to believe me I didn't-"
"I am so done with your crap. Sarah told me not to fall into your trap and I did anyways I thought it was just a misunderstanding but I guess not. You're fake and I can't believe I trusted you. I feel like a fool." He spat out and before I could say anything he went back to class. Just when I thought we were getting along.
I sat outside for a couple of minutes thinking about the past two days and how it escalated quickly. I felt lost and I didn't know what to do. Enough is enough, I get up and make my way back to the classroom. I sat down in my seat and before Kylie could even ask me what happened, I told her I'd tell her later.
After the bell rang the next couple of periods felt like a drag because Connor and I had to sit next to each other. We ignore each other the entire time due to frustration. We didn't want to be by each other but we had no choice. Now I had gym and I was kind of excited because it's my favorite period of the day. I put my stuff in my locker and made my way towards the gym but someone bumped into me.
I rub my shoulder to find Connors friends. Jake, he had blonde hair with the brightest dark grey eyes that resembled the clouds in the sky. His hair was dyed and it was platinum blonde which suited him. Aaron has dark brown eyes just like my own with chocolate brown hair. They both weren't as buff as Connor but still had some muscle due to the sports.
"Sor-" He stopped and smiled brightly at me.
"It's her right?" He asked his friends as he pointed at me.
"Sorry." I quickly said and made my way to the gym but they all ran and stood in front of me stopping me.
"So you're the girl that's getting married to Connor...right?" Jake asked. He told them? What the hell should I do to get them off my back.
"No English," I said with an german accent. Maybe if I keep saying this they will leave me alone.
"Oh really, what language do you speak then maybe we can help you out?" Aaron asked.
"No English," I repeated. I hope they are buying it. Jake and Aaron both looked at each other slightly confused.
"Jake, Aaron what are you two doing here? Audrey?" Ryder questioned, confused. I think I should take my chance and leave. I didn't waste time and walked away and went to the gym room; I'm late. I slowly opened the door but it was no use because the coach stopped talking and turned around.
"It's the first day so I am letting it go but if it happens next time," he said sternly but I nodded.
"Sorry coach, it won't happen next time," I said.
"All of you go sit down." All? I turned around to see Aaron and Jake's eyes widen, oh god, I knew they were going to find out eventually but I didn't think it would be this soon. I made my way towards Kylie but stopped when I realized she was sitting down next to her friends. Her friends were never fond of me; they've said some pretty hurtful things to me. I stopped sitting with them because I didn't want her to have problems because of me. I sit in the far corner where a lot of people aren't sitting.
That's when I realized something is off. Aaron and Jake were looking at each other mischievously. They were both walking towards me while Ryder sat down by Connor. They both sat down on either side of me and I realized that there was no way out.
"So you can't speak English huh?" Aaron asked.
"No English?" Jake questioned.
"What do you want?" I asked them softly hoping that they both could leave me alone.
"We just want to talk to you isn't that right, Jake?'' Aaron questioned.
"We know you are getting married to Connor. We just wanted to get to know the girl who he's marrying," Jake whispered so that no one else could hear him. Why are they happy about it? Don't they know that Sarah and Connor are dating?
"Did Connor not tell you?" I questioned. They both looked at me confused and shook their heads.
"He said he had to tell us something during lunch. Do you know what?" Aaron asked.
It's best if I stay quiet because I've already ruined everything. I can't ruin their friendship as well because it'll only make it worse.
"Okay class. So that's it for today we will start basketball tomorrow," the coach said.
"Do you-" Aaron got interrupted by one of Sarah's friends, Vanessa.
"Why are you associating yourself with trash?" Vanessa said disgustedly.
"Just look at her. She's so ugly,'' Stacy said to back up Vanessa. They both have been bullying me for as long as I could remember. My eyes watered, knowing that I will break down any second now.
"Vanessa, your lipstick is all over your face and Stacy, your eyebrows aren't the same." Jake said. Vanessa ran off but Stacy glared at Jake before walking away. After a couple seconds they both laugh.
"Hey, that wasn't nice." I watched them both laugh. Even though, they're rde
"They both deserve it trust me," Jake said.
"Look what we have here the two-faced wannabe. What happened is the innocent act not working anymore," Sarah said while walking towards us/
"We are wasting our time here, come on guys," They both had their eyes wide as they looked at Connors hand was intertwined with Sarah's.
"What the hell is going on?" Aaron and Jake said in unison.
"Did you know about this?" Aaron asked Ryder.
"Yeah, he just told me right now." Ryder said. He looked at me confused as to why I was with them. I think I should leave. I was about to leave but Aaron grabbed my arm forcing me to stay.
"Then why are you marrying, Audrey? If you are with Sarah?" Aaron asked.
