"Alex?"
My heart pounded in my chest as I gazed at him. My eyes then flickered to the figure standing beside him, and I realized that it was my best friend in the flesh.
"Alyssa?" I asked as if they were figments of my imaginations. My eyes blurred with tears as a smile stretched onto her face, and I found myself being launched at them by some unknown source.
My feelings of wanting to be alone flew out the window at this. Yes, it might've applied to everyone else because I saw them almost everyday, if not everyday. But Alyssa and Alex, I hadn’t seen them in months. I missed them so damn much.
I realized that I grabbed both of them in a hug in the middle of the hallway. I hadn’t even known that they were flying down.
"Oh my gosh this is real" I mumbled as I pulled away. I almost forgot
