Nothing was going right after Leo's call. I knew it wasn't his fault but damnit, of all the things to happen, it had to be this!
I had just spent the most amazing night with Lila and was ready to show off just a little too as I surprised her with breakfast in the morning, only to receive a call at some odd hour in the morning. At first I just ignored it, until it rang the second time.
“Why the hell are you calling now of all times? You know where I am," I growled out, speaking softly so I wouldn't wake Lila.
She was wrapped up in the sheets, snoring softly and the image of her in my bed was doing things to my heart.
