“You didn't tell me you had a sister!" I shouted.
Of all the things to not tell me!
“Oh my God, he has a sister!" Mia gasped out, just as surprised as me. “Plot twist."
This sent the girl, Luna, into giggles.
“Well, I didn't think my brother would keep us both in the dark. He doesn't usually bring home guests. Luna Silvius," she greeted, sliding down the banister with a particular sort of grace and ease that either spoke of skill, or an action done multiple times.
From Rafe's expression, probably both.
“Younger sister to Rafe," she continued. “But who are you to him, may I ask?"
“I'm just her friend," Mia said quickly, pointing at me. Way to throw me under the bus.
“It's complicated," I managed to get out without sounding too stressed.
