“How was your jog, my princess? Wait.”
And dad scans my body and even turned me around.
“I think you lost some weight already.”
“C’mon dad.”
“I am just joking so you won’t be too serious.”

“Have you eaten?”
“Yeah, mom. I ate at the diner with my friends.”
“Don’t forget we’re going later to the music school.”
“I am excited about that. I’m going to hit the shower and be with you in a minute.”
I took a quick shower but shampooed my long hair well as they limped with the jog we did. I prepared myself and blew dried my hair. I am excited so I put on some makeup. Then I went to my mom and dad who were still chatting at the table. As I went down the stairs, my mom looked at me.
“Somebody is really excited. You look so pretty.”
“You are my mom. Thank you.”
