CHAPTER 23
When I came home, dad and mom were watching a movie together, sweet as they are. They were seated next to each other on the couch. My dad’s hand was on my mom’s shoulder and her head was leaning on his arm. Then they both looked at me when I opened the door.
As I entered, I smiled at them and they both stood up to welcome me.
“How was your date?”
“It’s good. I love the sunset and the bay lights. It was awesome.”
“Take your rest now, honey and we will sleep as well.”
“Sure mom, thanks for waiting for me dad, and mom.”
And I went up to my room, did my night routine of shower, cleansing my face, brushing my teeth, and changing into my pajama.
Then as I lay on my bed, I reminisce our kiss, or should I say kisses. I floated on air and those butterflies in my stomach fluttered
