“Who's the father of your child, Emily?” Logan asked again with a stoic expression on his face.
Every color drained from my face and I gawked in disbelief at his audacity to ask about my son's father. He never cared to even listen to me when I was about to reveal the news of my pregnancy to him.
Not just that, he was less bothered when he saw the blood on my thighs after Vivian pushed me. Instead of helping me, he went to her because he was so concerned about her.
I would have had a miscarriage because of that incident but I was fortunate that my child survived. I recalled the emotional rollercoaster I had been on those years and I felt the corner of my eyes burn with tears.
