On Friday evening I found Allison standing outside on her balcony, starring off into the setting sky. A sinking feeling in my stomach told me she might be waiting for me, but I pushed it off. The guilt was too overwhelming. God, I’m such an asshole. I pulled a move like that last weekend and couldn’t bear to show my face since. My feet landed so gently on the opposite side of the balcony, she hadn’t even noticed. So I perched myself up on the railing, for only a moment watching her. Watching her as she scanned the sky over, watching for me. “Hey,” I finally mumbled, causing her to spin too quickly in my direction. “Hey, busy week?” She asked eagerly.
