“Oh f**k, are you okay?” I blurted out, remembering the fact that our bodies had just harshly collided, enough to send her backwards onto the floor. I reached out for her, guilt washing over me. She was okay, right? Her bright green eyes locked on mine, only this time it was different from all the others, mine hidden beneath the brown contact lenses. We were so close, but still she was so far out of reach. Her cheeks quickly burned red as her hand closed in mine.
