Immediately, I sat up straight, furrowing my eyebrows together as I looked over her in confusion. The adrenaline coursed through my veins. Had she seen me? Had she recognized me? Had I slipped up and done something? Quickly, I scanned the day over in my mind, until I was absolutely certain I hadn’t even seen her today. I hadn’t been looking though. In fact, I’d sort of been avoiding her. “We talked about this last night, are you really still this excited over it?” I smiled back to her, hoping that just maybe she’d been overthinking this as much as I had been all day. “No, you said you went to my school.
