Aaron called Gustin, Ashten, and me. Everyone was eagerly waiting for Isaac to tell them what Trevor informed him. "Before you tell anything, Are we sure That Trevor is telling the truth?" Gustin asked. " Yes." Emerson said. "How do you know? How do you know that he is not misleading us?" Gustin asked, again. "Because Trevor feels something for his brother. He regards Isaac as his brother even though he is a demon. I saw it with my own eyes. He loves his brother. At least, now he is feeling something. So, Yeah. I am pretty sure he is telling the truth."Emerson said. " I don't think so." Gustin gritted out. " Then tell me. Where is Rose?" Emerson asked crossing his hands. His muscles bulged out in his shirt. It is really strange. Even though they're damned souls, they seem almost like humans but not solid. I quickly turned my eyes to Gustin before thinking about anything else. I am going to figure everything out later. But now we have to find Rose. Gustin was quiet. He didn't utter a word after Emerson asked him the question."Yes. That is it. You don't know where is she. WE don't know where is she. So, Is Trevor misleading us? I don't know. Is it a trap? I don't know. But he surely knows something, and He is helping us by giving us some information. Be grateful. And let's start working. But first, let Isaac explain. " Emerson said and motioned Isaac to continue. " Trevor said that The Kingmas is preparing her to be his Queen. More like doing everything that he commands her to do. Her puppet. So, He has kept her with some of his followers. They are in the shadow realm. Rose is trained how to fight, and how to obey.That's all he said." Isaac breathed after informing us everything. "But he didn't say exactly where to find her." Neil frowned. " You might have to call him and ask where exactly has he kept Rose." Emerson suggested. "But I am not sure if he will answer my call." Isaac said. "Isaac, Your brother considers you his brother. He feels guilty that he did this to Rose just to blackmail you to give your soul to The Kingmas. He WILL answer your call. Else he wouldn't have even bothered to tell us where Rose is." I said. Ashten nodded. " Okay. Let me try." Isaac said, and closed his eyes. " Trevor, Please come to meet me. I have some questions." Isaac said." Again?" Trevor whined, appearing in front of us. " Trevor, We need to know where exactly are they keeping Rose." Emerson asked. " You have decided to go there?" Trevor asked, raising his brows. Isaac nodded. " But it is dangerous." Trevor said, frowning. "I will manage." Isaac replied. Trevor sighed and turned to Emerson. "Do you know Grisha?" Trevor asked him."Yes. What about her?" Emerson asked, furrowing his brows. " She is the one who is acting as a Guardian to Rose. Rose is in her house." Trevor said. And I saw Every damned soul shivering at it. "What?" I asked. " Grisha is working with The Kingmas?" Emerson asked. " Not with him. FOR him. And The whole shadow realm is working for him. " Trevor answered. I saw Neil stiffening. " What is it?" I asked, already frustrated that I don't know why they are afraid. " Why is the shadow realm working for The Kingmas? What happened to King Opolo?" Aaron asked. " He was killed." Trevor answered. " Who killed him?" Austin asked as if it was impossible to kill The King of the shadow realm. " The Kingmas." Trevor replied, straightening the bent collar of his red t-shirt. And all the damned souls looked at each other like they were priests, and something unholy has happened, which needs to be undone or stopped. Emerson composed himself quickly. " Okay. You can go. We will manage." He said. But Trevor didn't move. He looked at Isaac. " I can help you. If you want me to." He said to his brother with a flicker of hope in his eyes. "Absolutely not. You can lead us to a trap." Gustin shouted. Apparently, Isaac thought the same. " No. Thank you. You can go." Isaac muttered, and Trevor vanished not before flinching. He looked hurt. I didn't know we can hurt demons. Maybe I saw wrong? I looked at Emerson, and I knew he saw it too. How can a demon have feelings? I have never heard of it. " So, Who is this Grisha?" Gustin asked. "Grisha is The King of Shadow Realm's daughter. But she was always a rebel. I don't know why would she listen to him." Austin said. "Maybe because He killed her father." Luthanion said, with a tone that said, "Duh." " But she isn't afraid of anyone." Aaron said. "The Kingmas killed her father. She has every right to be afraid." Neil said. Only Emerson was quiet. " Emmie?" I called. I felt Ashten stiffen beside me. I have never called Emerson with this name. The name that I gave him. Emerson looked at me. "What are you thinking?" I asked. " Grisha and I were friends. Shadow realm is very close to The damned soul realm, although The Shadow realm is the oldest realm of all. These two realms are like siblings. I don't know how Jacob wasn't informed of his death. Opolo was very dear to Jacob." Emerson said. "YOU considered her as your friend. But she had a crush on you." Aaron pointed out. It lit a match inside my heart. And the burning sensation traveled to my stomach. I gulped down my saliva to cool down the burn. This situation is getting out of hand. I have to do something about it. "It is irrelevant here, Aaron." Emerson said, rolling his sparkling blue eyes. " Yeah. We need to make a strategy." Gustin interfered. " If Opolo is dead. And The Kingmas isn't in that realm as Trevor said, which means Grisha is the one ruling the realm. Maybe we could talk to her. "Emerson said. "Right. We will talk to her and she will listen to us." Austin said, huffing. " Maybe she will. " Emerson retorted. "And if she doesn't?" Neil asked. "Luthanion and I will go. We can escape if she doesn't." Emerson said. So, This is your plan?" Gustin asked, curving his brow. "Yes. If you have anything better, you can tell us." Emerson challenged. " We can sneak into the realm, and take Rose out." Gustin suggested. "It's not that simple. Shadow realm is for shadows. You can not just sneak in there. Because they are really shadows. We can only see them if THEY want us to see them." Emerson said. Gustin sighed and rubbed his face. " We just have to try, and talk to her, then." Luthanion jumped in. Emerson gave a somber nod. "Neil, Austin, and Aaron, You must go to Jacob, and inform him about everything. First, about Opolo's death." Emerson said to them. They nodded. " And what should we do?" Isaac asked. "Wait for us." Emerson said and vanished with Luthanion.

Aaron, Austin, and I hurried to the damned soul realm after Emerson, and Luthanion vanished to go to the shadow realm. Jacob would be devastated after hearing the news that Opolo had died. We walked straight to his castle. He was sitting on his throne and seemed like he was in a meeting with some people. As he saw us entering, He ended the meeting and dismissed them. Jacob motioned us to go to him as they left. " Is Emerson okay?" His first question. "Yes, He is fine. He told us to give you some news." I said. Jacob relaxed in his throne for a moment. But I am pretty sure he won't be relaxing after hearing what We have to say. " What news?" He asked. " Opolo is dead." I said. Jacob's eyes widened slowly, his shoulders rigid, and his back straight. He seemed alarmed. "How? " He asked. " The Kingmas killed him." I replied. Jacob would have stiffened more if it would have been possible for him to do that. " But He is the King. He can not be killed. I think you have misunderstood." Jacob frowned. " No. Trevor told us. A demon." Austin said. " But... But It isn't possible." Jacob said. "Why not?"Aaron asked. " You are King, too. But you can be killed. So, why can't he be killed?" I asked.Jacob shook his head. "HE can not be killed. He cannot die." Jacob repeated. He seemed in shock. "Jacob, I know it is hard on you but He is dead." I repeated. Jacob shook his head, and he looked at me. His eyes conveyed that he was sure of it. My brows furrowed, and I felt a sudden cool breeze brush me. "What do you mean?" I asked. " Opolo isn't like normal King, Neil. His Daughter is his anchor. Did you see any other King to have a child?" Jacob asked. I looked at Aaron and Austin. Then we shook our heads together. He was right. No other Kings has a child except Opolo. " He can not be killed because his daughter can not be killed." Jacob said. "You mean Grisha is more powerful than all the kings?" Austin asked, backing away as his brows went up high. "Not powerful like that. They take their powers from Romas, The star... Grisha was gifted to Opolo. By Romas. She is his anchor. Unless and until someone kills Grisha, Opolo can't be killed. Romas has gifted Grisha to Opolo to show how much Romas loves him. They are connected. I don't know everything about them. But I am sure Opolo is not dead if Grisha is alive." Jacob said. With that, my heart quickened. Romas is just not any star. It rules all the realms. But no realm can take powers from it. The powers that all the realm has, are given to them, at their birth. No one can take power from Romas. " But how is it possible? No one can take power from Romas. It won't allow them." Austin voiced my question. " But Opolo does. Shadow realm is the oldest realm. It is the firstborn. It was there even before the mortal realm. While ours is the youngest. So, Romas allowed its firstborn to take powers from it. It is just out of kindness, and love for the shadow realm, and Opolo." Jacob answered. " Then, Why did the demon tell us about his death?" Aaron asked. I was dumbfounded. I couldn't move my mouth or hand or legs. " Either the demon lied to you. Or he knows the wrong thing." Jacob said, suddenly he was shifting on his throne feeling less comfortable as minutes passes by. "Emerson went there. With Luthanion." Austin said, his eyes widening. " If Luthanion is there then he would be fine. But still, you need to go there. Maybe it's a trap." Jacob said, almost getting up from his throne. Gustin was right. It might be a trap. Maybe even Trevor didn't know. Maybe he was played or maybe not... Whatever it is, Emerson and Luthanion need to know that Opolo isn't dead. In fact.." Neil?" Jacob called. I looked at my King." What are you thinking?" He asked. "I think.." I shook my head. It isn't possible. So, instead, I said, "I think we should hurry." Jacob nodded, sombrely. " Maybe Opolo is hiding somewhere. Or maybe... Maybe." Jacob gulped. He looked at me. He knows I am thinking the same thing. " Let's hope for the best." He said, smiling tightly. I nodded. " But why did they go there? To the shadow realm?" Jacob asked. " To find Rose. The Kingmas is interested in her. So, He has given her to the Shadow Realm. Some of the shadows are training her. So, They went there to find her, and bring her back." Aaron said. " They shouldn't have gone there." Jacob said, shaking his head. "But she is Winter's friend. Hence, She is our friend. " I said. On hearing Winter's name, I sensed him stiffening again. " Winter?' He asked. " The girl Emerson was rumored with." I reminded him. "Right. Right." Jacob said, suddenly looking gloomy. "Are you alright?" Austin asked. " Yeah. I am fine. You all need to hurry. You need to inform them. Before they fall for the trap." Jacob said, alert again. We nodded. And we hurried to inform our friends about the trap.
