ZANDER Tomorrow, we are switching back. “I hope you brought my umbrella,” a man says behind me. I jump, backing away. “Don’t do that,” I say, placing a hand on my chest. “You scared the s**t out of me.” I take his umbrella from my backpack. “Here. It’s the most expensive-looking umbrella I’ve ever seen. I didn’t use it again after letting it dry.” He takes it back, his fingers brushing against mine.
