“It was just a fling,” Zander says, closing the door again and leaning against it. “I don’t know why he would kiss me. We parted ways last year, and I haven’t seen him since then.”

“We should figure out how to switch back,” he segues. “Do you have any idea?”
I take the bottle and chug. “Before, it only lasted for minutes. An hour, max. It’s been almost a day. We should’ve switched back by now. So no, I have no idea.”
“There must be something that triggers it and vice versa.”
