"I don't know where she is I haven't heard from her!" I explained.

trying not to freak out as I was telling my boss over the phone. He paused

After that he hung up I grabbed my keys and my jacket as I went outside to smoke a cigarette. When I was almost done I seen a gold Cadillac pull up unto the front yard.

I saw Damion and Candy's best friend get out. I called Damion to tell him that his sister was missing. I was wrong for not telling Carla about him being in the hospital.

They walked up to me

"Thanks for coming you guys could stay here in case she comes back I explained.

Damion looked at me and shook his head

"She's my sister I'm going with you to find her he said

Sierra quickly jumped in and said she would stay at the house in case Carla comes back.

That works I said as I and Damion headed to my truck and got in. I didn't want to argue anyway.

I pulled off

"So where are we going get asked.

I told him we were going to Alex's house I had a strong feeling he knows more than he's letting on.

Later as was pulled up to Alex's house I knocked on the door and as soon I saw him open the door I grabbed him by the front of his shirt.

"Where is she?" I said.

I snapped back into reality and remember I had a job to do and I was trying to save Carla.

I let go of his shirt and asked him what he knew about Carla going missing. He told me that a pretty white girl with dark hair paid some guys to kidnap Carla and that she's in Dallas.

"Let's go, Damion, I.said urgently as I was rushing to my truck.

He told us it was a set up to get us if we show up there or Carla would be killed.

My face dropped I knew that Laura was behind this. I was furious

I got in and then drove on to the highway and went to the exit for Dallas

As we're on our way to Dallas I was hard to focus on the road

as Alex told me and Damion that Laura had his boys spy on us that's how they found out where we live and when she went to the doctor they followed her to a gas station on the side of the road and hit her on the head to knock her out. I was trying my best not to kill him...

" Where is she?," I questioned.

He gave me the directions to some old motel outside of town.

As I was heading there I called and got some undercover cops to come so no one knows the cops are there.

The Bright orange light in the parking lot was shining in my face as I parked the truck.

I told Alex to get out one go up to the room Laura was in and distract her until the other cops show up so I would have back up.

I walked up the old metal stairs to the second floor outside of the building and went over to an old black wooden door that had the number 63 on it.

I heard the lady said behind the door I could hear rumbling around in the room.

She opened the door and was wearing a white robe.

" Come in, she said

I noticed her eyes were red she was clearly high.

as I walked in giving her a hug she then sat on the bed I closed the door making sure not to lock it.

I told her I had to go to the bathroom real quick she okay and was laughing at the TV.

I couldn't handle this I didn't think this would happen.

I put my finger on my lips telling signaling to her to be quick and I untied her and removed her gag.

" Stay in here I said pulling the curtain back.

When I walked out of the bathroom I saw the lady standing in front of me

" Why did you have to open the shower she said.

Before revealing a blade that went straight to my neck. Everything went black and I fell to the ground

I couldn't wait any longer so I ran up to the room as fast as I could and quickly kick the door down to see Laura standing in the middle of the room with a bloody blade.

My eyes quickly went to Alex's lifeless body laying on the ground.

I quickly pulled out my gun at her the way she looked scared me she was almost like a zombie.

" Put the knife down and come with me please," I said trying to stay calm.

She laughed.

" I'm not going to prison behind any of you," she said.

I was still pointing my gun at her tempted to shoot

But before I could make the decision she took the knife and slit her throat.

I heard a scream come from the bathroom.

I ran in there and seen the shower curtain move back I was ready to shoot until I seen Carla both us had tears coming from our eyes.

I picked her up and wrapped a towel around her as we walked out.

My eyes were filled with shock and my mouth was on mute as Tristan walked out of the bathroom to see my ex-boyfriend and Tristan's ex-wife being carried out in body bags.

All I could hear were sirens, people talking and police radios into the night..
