Chapter 10 Ryders POV

We decided to watch Deadpool, Lilly had her head on my lap whilst I played with her hair, I thought she dyed it but now I think it's natural but it's such a dark red.

" I know this sounds silly but do you dye your hair" she got up and sat facing me, she paused the film

" when I part shifted at 15, my eyes changed colour and my hair changed colour, when I turn into Ghost my eyes are the same blue but my hair isn't the colour of my wolf, which I find strange i don't know why it changed colour"

"So what colour is your wolf"

" you will have to wait and see" she said smiling at me, that smile is going to kill me one day.

" Ok, so questions," she said grabbing some popcorn

" fav colour and food, mine is purple and I love chocolate and steak"

" mine is dark blue and pizza I guess if I had to pick"

We talked about pets, holidays, places we would like to go, our childhood, she had loads of memories from when she was a child, it was so nice to hear her laughing and joking.

I was now laying across her lap, she was running her hands through my hair.

" I understand if you don't want to talk about it but your sisters mentioned your dad"

She looked down at me, I sighed, she stopped her hands,

" please carry on doing that" she went back to running her hands through my hair

" Dad had been giving me more intense training sessions saying i needed to start working harder to take over as Alpha, we had walked out to the edge of our territory, he was explaining the different packs around us, who was a friend who was an enemy, when we heard howling all around us then, I think bullets started to fly but they were arrows, we shifted, we started to fight but there were so many of them, We linked the pack, I couldn't keep up when just how many wolves kept coming at us, I was getting tired, dad was trying to keep them off me, our pack finally turned up, I remember being pulled back into the woods towards our house, I could see the rogues taking my dad. The days after blurred into one after that, within a week I was the Alpha, I made everyone train harder and for longer, I was angry at everyone, I know people are scared of my temper but I had no one to talk to my mum and sisters wouldn't come near me......"

I was crying so much by this point, I have never spoken about it before

" I'm sorry Ryder, there's nothing else I can say" she wiped my tears away. We stayed in silence for a little while

" ummm, did you ever think they were after you not your dad"

I sat up, " what do you mean"
