Caroline's PoV
The mansion was peaceful again when Garry returned home, and George read a book in the library. I didn't follow him because I didn't have a book to read. Johnny hasn't returned yet, and I'd like to know where Vincent was taken.
I was down here, just lying on the sofa, waiting for Johnny to arrive; later, I heard the carriage approaching, so I stood up from my bed on the couch. Johnny hurried in and removed his black hat from his head.
"Johnny, what orphanage did you take him to?" I questioned Johnny, and he handed me a piece of paper detailing the orphanage where Vincent was staying.
"No harm will come to Vincent since the people in the orphanage are random," Johnny assured me, and I agreed.
"Does it suggest it has a vampire and mortal as well with him?" I asked Johnny,
