Caroline's PoV
I went to the beach and gazed down at my feet in the water, as well as raising the hem of my dress. I saw how I appeared and grinned, but then I heard George and Garry chatting and believed I spotted someone in the water.
"You know that I like Caroline, right?" Garry started to George, and I'm not leaving my standing position because I don't want to participate in their conversation.
"Yes, I heard all you said, and if you like Caroline, I'm sure Caroline told you she won't give up on me," George responded, and my cheeks warmed.
