Caroline's PoV
I heard a knock, and George and I looked at the door, thinking it was Johnny because he was the only one with us in our investigation. Garry entered right away when I opened the door, to my immense shock.
"I was right. You'll know we're investigating," George said as I moved away from Garry to reclaim my seat.
"It was not that hard to track you guys down. Even if you didn't include me, it's fine with me. Who said to investigate now?" Garry inquired, and I responded immediately.
"I'm the one who wanted to investigate right now. Is there a problem with it? Do you want to go toe-to-toe with me?" I asked Garry, and he looked at me with a cheeky grin.
