Chapter Eleven

Sterling’s POV

After we ate our lunch, we changed back into our clothes and went to the car. I kept replaying those moments in my head. I didn’t want to fall for him fast, but I already have, he just pulls me in and melts me. I can’t believe I lost my virginity, we lost it to each other. When we reached the car, he unlocked and opened my door. I got in and buckled up. He put the bags in the back and got in, he started the car, he looked over at me and leaned over and kissed my forehead. I smiled at him, and he started back to the packed grounds.

“So, I guess this means we will have my Luna ceremony sooner rather than later.” I spoke while turning my head to him.

“You will make one hell of a Luna; I have faith in you, my love.” He said, placing his hand on my thigh and lightly squeezing it.

I put my hand over his and smiled. I know I was cautious at first and told myself to take things slow. However, it felt right. Everything with Enzo feels right, it feels natural to me. I looked over at him and he had a huge smile on his face,

“Do you regret anything?” I asked him.

“Absolutely not my love, you are my everything and I would give my life for you. Do you?” He asked me.

“I wanted to take things slow at first because I was scared of getting hurt. However, everything feels natural with you. It feels like I don’t have to try.” I answered him.

We turned back onto the main road and went back towards the pack house; the drive back home was faster than to the mountains. As soon as I got close enough to link the girls, I did.

“Guess what!” I said to you to both girls,

“What?” they both asked,

“I’m fully marked and mated. It was the best thing in my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

They started to scream in my head and laugh. I put up a block after that because they tried to ask me detailed questions about it. I wanted to wait until we were in person to tell them that, so we pulled at the gate, and he rolled the window down.

“Welcome back, Alpha Enzo”, the guard bowed his head and opened the gate.

“Be prepared to be welcomed by my parents,” he stated.

As we were pulling up to the packed house outside, it was his mom and dad and his sister Lacie. He put the car in park, got out and came to my side. As he was walking around, I could see the smiles grow on their faces, they could see his mark. He opened my door, and his mom ran up to me and grabbed me into a hug,

“Well, I’m glad to see you two have fully accepted each other.” She said, pulling back.

His father walked up towards us, “welcome to family officially, not that we didn’t consider you family before. This just seals the deal.” He laughed while winking at me.

“Sterling, darling, let’s go and plan for your Luna ceremony.” His mom linked her arm to mine and so did his sister.

I looked back at him, and he had his hand on the bridge of his nose laughing. They pulled me inside of the packhouse, we walked over to the stairs and walked up to her office. As soon as we got to her door, she unlocked it and opened it. I gasped as we walked in. Her office was huge, it had white walls with accents of red and gold. The floor was black and gold marble. Her desk was a deep gray color. She has a huge sitting area to the right with red and white chairs. We walked over to the chairs and sat down.

“So, Sterling, when would you like to have your ceremony?” His mom said she had a legal pad in her hand and was ready to write stuff down.

“I would like to do it on the full moon.” I answered her.

“What did you have in mind for food?” Lacie asked.

“How about salad to start and then we have salmon and steak with asparagus and green beans and macaroni and pasta salad. That way we have something that everyone will want to eat,” I answered.

“How about the decorations?” Julie was writing stuff down as she asked.

“I’m not really sure. Let’s do the pack colors for sure, so red and gold. Could we add some white and black to that as well?” I asked.

“It’s whatever you would like dear, I think those colors will look great together.” She smiled.

“How about your dress?” His sister asked.

“Hmm, how about a red and gold dress? Where would we find something like that?” I asked them both.

“Oh, don’t worry about that, whatever you think I can do it! I made my own dress when I had my Luna ceremony.” Julie smiled ear to ear.

I looked at my watch and noticed the next full moon was in two days.

“That’s two days away, are you sure you have enough time? I don’t want to worry you about that,” I said sincerely.

“I would be honored to make your Luna dress. That is more than enough time.” She spoke.

“What would you want it to look like?”

I thought to myself for a moment. I want something that’s going to make me look strong and still modest.

“How about an off the shoulder loose cap sleeve with a line bust, with a little accent of gold? up top. I would like for the bottom to flow freely, with a slit from the right knee down. As you are getting closer to the bottom of the dress, I would love for it to fade into gold.” I imagined it in my head while I told them.

“I think that will look beautiful on you.” Lacie smiled.

“I would like to have my hair pulled up completely and someone else to do my makeup if that’s okay?” I asked them.

“We will have Xzavier and Emily come up and do the hair and make up for you.” Julie said, putting the legal pad and pen down.

“I think that’s everything.” She spoke.

“Thank you both. I really appreciate you guys for doing this, not only that too, but for being so welcoming to me as well.” I said.

“Of course, we have been waiting for Enzo to find his mate. I know you just turned of age, but he is 23 and has been waiting for you. I’m just so happy it was you and not that b*tch Ariel.” Julie replied, rolling her eyes as she said her name.

“So, you don’t like her either?” I raised my brow.

“No, she has been after Enzo since before she was 18. Once she turned 18, she waited for Enzo to turn 18 as well. She is 25. You know that, right? Anyways, once he turned 18, she was finally able to see that he wasn’t her mate. She lost it and begged him to take her as his chosen mate. I walked in on her begging him. I told her no because his mate was out there looking, waiting for him. I told her she needed to focus on herself and finding her mate. She didn’t listen and wouldn’t leave him alone. I heard what she had pulled the other day in the hospital and that had my blood boiling. She thinks, Gamma's daughter, that she will always get what she wants. She has done nothing but sleep around.” She said with her eyes turning black in rage.

“Well, I don’t like her either, because of the hospital and last night she had the guts to come up to our room and knocked on the door. I opened it and she was shocked. She asked me why I was in his room, and I told her because I’m his mate and she missed it. She said she had come up there to make love to Enzo and that he loved her, and I assume she was going to say no to me. I ended up punching her in her face and busted her nose open. I told her to stay away from him and if she came near him again, she was going to deal with me. I slammed the door in her face.” I laughed at the last part.

“So that’s what happened to her face. She tried to tell people she had tripped. I knew that was a lie, wolves have good reflexes.” Lacie started laughing.

“Well, if she bothers you again, I have no doubt in my mind that you will handle it.” Julie said with a smile.

Sterling’s POV

I was lying in bed cuddled up to Enzo. We spent the entire night making love. I couldn’t get enough of it; I must try hard not to jump at his bones every time I see him. Today is the Luna ceremony. The past two days have flown by. I rolled over and looked at Enzo. He was still asleep, lightly snoring. I kissed his cheek and snuck out of bed into the bathroom, I walked to the shower and turned it on. I waited for the water to get warm, I stepped in and washed my hair and body. As I was washing out my conditioner, I felt a warm pair of arms wrap around me, and a smile appeared on my face.

“Good morning beautiful!” His husky voice whispered in my ear.

“Good morning handsome.” I laughed.

“Why didn’t you wake me?”

“You were sleeping peacefully, I wanted to let you rest.” I said to him.

He kissed my cheek and started to wash his body. I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my hair and then around myself. I walked out of the bathroom and into my closet. I put on a button-up flannel and a pair of leggings. I put on my shoes and walked back out into the room, and he was already out of the shower.

“I’m going to go get ready babe. I’ll see you later.” I walked over and gave him a sweet kiss.

“I can’t wait to see you later,” he said sweetly.

I walked out the door and went down to Julie’s office to get ready with the girls. My mom, Rae, Everleigh, Julie, Lacie and I were getting ready together. I knocked on the door and went in. All the girls were already there, mom came over to me and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the chair.

“Are you excited about the ceremony tonight?” My mom asked, sitting across from me.

I felt the stylist start messing with my hair,

“I’m a little nervous but I’ll be okay.” I smiled. I honestly don’t know how I will do being a Luna.

“I’m so excited for you, Sterling. I know it’s a big change, but I know if anyone can do it, it’s you,” Everleigh said, with tears in her eyes.

“You promised you wouldn’t cry; you guys are acting like I’m getting married or something? It’s just my Luna ceremony.” I snapped a little.

“You are the perfect match for my brother. I am so happy to have you as my sister-in-law,” Lacie added.

Halfway through my hair, the makeup artist came in and started. I told her to keep it natural and a little bit bold. I was already going to be standing out and didn’t want to add anything else to that. Julie started to kick everyone out of the room,

“I want to give you something”, she pulled out a little and handed it to me. I opened it up and there were diamond gold stud earrings.

“Julie, this is way too much! I can’t take this!” I said, trying to hand them back to her.

“Please, it was my mother’s mother. I gave Lacie a pair before you got down here and I wanted to give you these. They will go beautifully with your dress. Plus, your family, my sweet girl.” She smiled while putting the box back in my hands.

“Thank you so much, they are beautiful!” I said, standing and giving her a hug.

I walked over to the mirror to put them on. My hair looked beautiful, it was pulled all up a little draped over my forehead and pulled back. I can see a braid starting from the front going to the back and a bunch of smaller braids. They left some down in front of my ears that were curled. My eyes popped with the way they did my makeup, did a Smokey eye, but with earthy and gold eyeliner, she made lips and lightly contoured my face. I turned to Julie; she had my dress out of the bag. She held the hanger out for me to grab it.

“This is perfect, you didn’t do an amazing job.” I was jumping up and down.

The off the shoulder cap sleeves were a sheer red material, the rest of the dress was satin red, at the bust it had flakes of gold. As you look towards the bottom, the flakes of gold start slowly and then fade into taking up the entire bottom of the dress! The flakes lined where the slit was perfectly!

“You really out did yourself! You’re amazing!” I said, taking Julie into a hug.

“I’m going to step out so you can get dressed. I’ll be back in a moment to zip you up, okay?” She said, squeezing me right.

I nodded, I turned and undressed. I put my black stiletto heels on and stepped into my dress. I pulled it up, I zipped it as much as I could. It fits me like a glove. I couldn’t wait to see Enzo’s reaction. Julie walked back in and came over to me and zipped me up along the way. I followed her out of the office and to the stairs. I wanted to walk down to Enzo instead of popping out of an elevator. We were getting ready to take the last flight of stairs and his scent flooded my nostrils, it was giving me goose bumps. I reached the top and he turned to look at me. He had his hair pushed back, he was wearing black dress pants and black shoes. He had on a black dress shirt and undid the top two buttons like I like them. I couldn’t help but think about all the fun we are going to have later. I made it to the bottom of the steps, and he walked right up to me. He slid his finger onto my back and the other one pulled my leg to his side and he slammed his lips to mine, dipping me backwards. I wrapped my arms around him and deepened the kiss just a little.
