Chapter Eight

ENZO POV

I stood there for a moment. I couldn’t believe that she had just driven off and left me. Onyx was growling in my head; this girl sure knows how to push my buttons. I stormed off to my car and slammed the door shut and went through it into the drive and took off to the packed house.

“Don’t just walk away from me when I am talking to you.” I growled in my mind, linking to her.

I waited for a moment to see if she was going to say anything. She. She was ignoring me. I pulled up to the parking lot, put the car in park and saw her waiting in her car. I rolled my window down and stared at her,

“You love to just defy me, don’t you?” I barked while she rolled her window down.

She just rolled her eyes. I rolled my window up and got out. I walked to her car and opened her car door, she jumped out and started to walk towards the packed house. I ran to catch up to her. I pulled her to the elevator and pressed the 5th floor button. She just crosses her arms and huffs. I can’t help but shake my head, she is going to drive me nuts. I grabbed her hand and led her to my room as the elevator doors opened. I pulled her to the left and down the fall. We stopped in front of my tall black door. I unlocked the door and pushed the door open. Her steps in. Her eyes were wide. I immediately shut the door and locked it behind myself. I can’t help but watch her look around. She has the perfect body, curves in all the right places. Onyx starts to purr inside of my head while I am staring at her.

“You can look around later, let’s go ahead and get ready.” I spoke. She nodded her head and started to look around at her boxes.

“I am going to hop in a shower, there are items on the left side of the sink for you.” I walked over to her and kissed her forehead. I turned towards the bathroom and walked in and started to undress. I turned the water on and climbed in.

Sterling’s POV

I was digging through my box of dresses trying to decide what to wear for tonight. I had pulled out two of my favorites. One was a satin bright red dress; it had a low v neck in the front that showed more than the eyes should with a slit from my mid-thigh down. The other one was an emerald, green-strapped satin dress that hugged me all the way down to my hips. This one also had a slit from the mid-thigh down. I walked over to his bed, I mean our bed now, I guess. It was a black wooden bedframe that had red silk comforter and black sheets on it. This bed was a king compared to my full size, the walls are a light gray color, the floors are black marble with gold. This room is massive, it is almost the size of my old house. On the other side of the room was a red couch and a fireplace with a TV mounted onto the wall. I could see a couple of other doors other than the one he had walked into to take a shower. I walked over to the middle door of the room and pushed it open. There was a huge walk-in closet on the right side that had all her clothes and shoes neatly put away. The right side was completely empty. I assume it was empty for me. I don’t even know how I would even fill this closet up. I turned around and walked out and went to the other door to my right so I could go ahead and start getting ready. I stopped right before the door. I knew once I walked in, I would see him completely naked, my nerves were getting to me. I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. I slowly twisted the handle and walked in. I kept my head on the ground and walked over to the right side of the counter. Sure enough, there was a toothbrush, all the things I would need. I glanced up and saw him in the mirror. His back was facing me. He was washing his hair. He has a huge tattoo on his back. It looks like a wolf and the mountains about us. The eyes of the wolf are emerald green. His muscles flexed from him washing his hair, his legs were toned as well. I couldn’t take my eyes off him; his butt was perfect. It was round and plump, just as I brought my eyes back up to his tattoo. I wanted to look away, but I couldn’t bring myself either. He turned around and had a crooked smile on his face.

“You can join me if you would like.” His voice sounded raspy.

I couldn’t form words. I started to open my mouth to speak but I found myself looking at the rest of his body. His biceps are the size of my face, he has chiseled abs and a v-line. I look a little lower and my cheeks feel warm, he is huge, nine maybe 10 inches and thick. My eyes widen, how on earth would that fit? My core starts to burn and weep. He turns the water off; I snap my eyes back to the sink to turn on the water to brush my teeth. I hear him step out and grab the towel off the rack, he walks over to the sink. His hand grabs my chin and turns my face to him, his eyes are black. They are filled with lust and desire.

“I can smell your sweet arousal” he whispers, barely touching my lips. I felt the sharks on my lips. I pulled away; I knew if I was to kiss him I would do something I was not ready for.

“On your bed there are two dresses. Will you pick one for me?” I asked, looking into his eyes.

He was biting his bottom lip and turned away and walked out of the bathroom. I turned back to the mirror. My face was a bright shade of red, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. He walks back into the bathroom with the green dress in hand,

“Thank you”, I spoke while reaching for the green dress.

He pulled it back before I could grab it, he pulled his hand in front of his face and motioned for me to go to him. I walk over and try to grab my dress again; he pulls in by my hips and smashes his lips into mine. I couldn’t help it, but I started kissing back. He asked for entrance and I refused him. I pulled away and grabbed my dress from his hand.

“What was that for?” I questioned him.

“I wanted to kiss you.” His husky voice sent chills down my spine.

I turned to walk out into his room to grab my curling iron, I walked over to one of my boxes and grabbed some makeup back. I walked back into the bathroom and shut the door behind me, I plugged the curling iron in and started on my makeup while I was waiting for it to heat up. I figured to keep this a natural look; I was finishing up with my makeup when my curling iron finished heating up. I started to curl my hair loosely. Once I was done with that, I walked back out into the bedroom and walked to my box with my bars and underwear. I dug for just a moment and found my black lace strapless bra and black lace underwear. I grabbed those and walked into the bathroom again. I started to take my clothes off to change. Enzo walked in while I was taking my pants off,

“Well, this is a pleasant sight.” He chuckled.

“Get out, I’m changing!” I shouted at him.

“This is my bathroom as well” he said, while standing in the doorway, crossing his arms.

“Please, until I am comfortable?” I asked him with my pleading eyes.

He turned and walked out and shut the door behind him. I finished taking my clothes off and slipped on my underwear and bra. I pulled the dress up and fixed the straps, I reached behind myself and got it to zip halfway. I started to braid my hair back loosely, I pulled down certain pieces to frame my face. I took one look at myself and smiled, I walked out of the bathroom.

“Enzo, can you help me zip my dress up the rest of the way,” I asked.

“I’m in the closet baby girl,, if you come in here, I will,” he shouted. I walked over to the closet, and he had on black dress pants and dress shoes, he was shirtless still. My eyes examined his chest, and slowly went back up to his face. He was smiling ear to ear.

“Do you like what you see?” He sounded amused. I nodded my head while I turned around and pulled my braid forward for him to zip me up.

“Good, because it’s all yours baby.” He whispered into my ears, then kissed my neck.

Goose bumps formed all over my body, he zipped up my dress and tapped my ass. I jumped a little, it caught me off guard. I walked out of the closet and walked over to my heel box and grabbed my black heels. I leaned on the couch and pulled my heels on.

ENZO’s POV

I was in the closet putting on my black clothes. I opened the door and walked out of the bedroom. She was sitting on the couch waiting for me. She looked so beautiful; her hair was braided back, and she was wearing the green dress I picked out for her. Her makeup was subtle and natural, she stood up and walked over to me. My heart is beating out of my chest, she is swaying her hips enough to mesmerize me with them. She walks up and undoes my top button on my shirt and leans back to look at me.

“ It's much better.” She smirked. I could smell her arousal again, I wanted to take her right there.

“Watch where your mind lingers baby.” I laughed while grabbing her hand.

“You look gorgeous.” I said while I locked eyes with her. I could see the happiness in her eyes.She lowered her head as her cheeks were turning red.

“Thank you, Enzo.” She whispered. When she said my name, she had Onyx purring.

“Are you ready?” I asked her.

She nodded her head and we walked towards the door. I opened it and shut the door behind us, making sure it was locked. We walked towards the elevators and waited for them. When they showed up, we walked into them, and I pressed the 1st floor. I could tell she was a little nervous.

“ Don’t be nervous baby, I’ll be next to you all night.” I spoke to her while I squeezed her hand.

“I’m not nervous about the party, I am just nervous about being around you. I want to take things slow, but every time you kiss me, I just want more,” She replied.

“Why do you want to take things slow? We are wolves, you and I both know wolves usually jump on each other’s bones and mark each other on the same day.” I questioned her.

“I’m just scared to get hurt by you, I have had a crush on you for years. You just haven’t had the best history with women, and I don’t want to end up hurt like them.” She whispered.

“Baby, I am not going to hurt you. You are my mate and my life now. I don’t want anyone but you. I haven’t had any interest in dating for the last 6 months or any interest in girls at all. Until I found you that night, I was fine with being alone.” I said while grabbing her chin to pull her face to look at me.

“I believe you, just please don’t give me a reason not to.” She replied.

Just then, the elevator doors opened. We walked out and started towards the main room; my mother had decorated the entire place. Just then Lacie was walking up to us.

“Hey brother, is this her?” she wiggled with excitement. I nodded my head, she pulled her into a hug.

“Hi Sterling, I’m Lacie Enzo’s brother. I’m so happy to finally get to meet you.” She said while pulling back from the hug.

“It’s nice to meet you as well, Lacie”, Sterling replied.

Sterling’s POV

The park house looks beautiful, it is decorated with gold and red streamers everywhere. We walked towards the front of the room where Enzo’s parents were. I could see my mother standing there talking to them. I wondered what they were talking about.

“Sterling, you look stunning tonight.” Luna Julie said to me.

“Thank you, you do as well!” I smiled back at her.

Enzo pulled out of my seat and I sat down, and he sat down next to me. He placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed it. I looked over at him. He looks so handsome tonight. I unbuttoned one of his buttons on his black dress shirt earlier to show a little bit more chest.

“Sterling, are you and Enzo ready?” Alpha Stark asked.

“Yes, I believe so.” I replied to him.

He stood up and walked towards the stage, Enzo grabbed my hand and led me towards the stage.

“Red Moon Pack, I am very happy to see you all tonight. I know this last week was different for us all with the Rogue attack. We are looking into it and you will all know as soon as I do. We ask everyone to attend tonight for fantastic news. My son Enzo and your future Alpha have found his mate and future Luna.” He was shouting. Everyone erupted into applause and cheering. I looked over at Enzo and he smiled back.

“I would like to introduce Sterling Verlice as your future Luna.” He spoke while turning towards Enzo and me.

Enzo pulled me into a kiss and leaned me back, the crowd cheered and whistled. I could feel myself turning red. I wrapped one arm around his neck, he took us back and pulled away slowly. I put my hand on his chest and faced the crowd,

“She will have her Luna ceremony once they have completed the mating process. Thank you, eat, drink and enjoy.” Alpha Stark announced.

I turned the Enzo and followed him off the stage and back to our table. The pack members started coming up to say hello. It was so hard to keep up with the names of each person. Everleigh and Rae came up with Josh behind them.

“You look great tonight,” Rae smiled while she hugged me.

“I can’t believe you are going to be the future Luna,” Everleigh replied. Josh was glaring at Enzo. Josh shifted his eyes over to me.

“You look amazing.” Josh said while he winked at me.

Enzo tightened his grip on my shoulders and let out a deep growl. I placed my hand on his thigh to try and calm him. I was starting to enjoy the sparks I felt from touching him. I could feel him tense up from my touch, I guess I caught him off guard. Josh smiled and walked away, “I’m so sorry he can be a really big jerk sometimes.” Rae apologized. She knew he was an ass to girls. They walked away.

“I’m sorry about him.” I looked at Enzo.

“Don’t worry about it, it’s not your fault, my love. He just wants what is mine.” He smiled and kissed my cheek.

I started to eat my food. Today we were eating salmon with asparagus and fried potatoes. I enjoyed every bite; I didn’t even notice how hungry I was. I ended up getting a second helping. Just then, Zeke walked up to Enzo and me.

“Alpha Enzo, I think you and your Luna need to come look at this.” He said to us.

I turned to Enzo with a puzzled look on my face, “What is it, Zeke?” He questioned.

“You both need to see for yourself.” He gritted through his teeth.

I just now noticed his eyes were black with anger. Enzo helped me out of my seat, and we followed Zeke to the front of the packed house and down towards the garage.

“A guard was doing his rounds and found it like this.” He replied as we turned the corner.

“WHO THE HELL DID THIS TO MY CAR!” I shouted. Sapphire and growling with rage in my head, I was trying my best to hold her back. My windows were busted out, the side of my car had been keyed, and it said w***e and not my Luna. There was spray paint all over the inside of it, my radio was busted, and my seats were cut open.

“Zeke, I want the guard that found the car like this in my office immediately.” He was growling with anger. I walked over to my car looking at the damage.

“I can’t believe this happened. Who would do this?” I was on the verge of letting Sapphire take over. Just then, Enzo came over to me and pulled me into a hug. I started to calm down at his touch.

“I don’t know why this happened, but we will figure it out for our baby.” He said while he cooed me.

“What the hell am I supposed to do with a freaking car? I bought that with my savings.” I muffled while my head was on his chest.

“You can just drive one of mine until we figure out who did it. If we were to get you another one, they would probably just do the same thing.” I thought about what he said, and he was right.

I looked up at him and noticed his eyes were clouded over, “Let’s go to my office. The guard is there waiting,” he said. We made our way to his office. Inside was a guard, Zeke, Alpha Stark, and Luna Julie. We walked over to his desk, and he said I stood next to him at first. He turned to me and pulled me into his lap. I guess we knew I needed to calm down.
